Furano Ski Resort'taki Kita-no-Mine Gondola İstasyonu'na sadece 1 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindeki Chalet Fuyuri, oturma odası ve mutfak içiren daire tarzı konaklama birimleriyle hizmet vermektedir. We loved the proximity of the slopes We hired three of the 5 chalets, all had their own entrances and so were great for 3 groups of 4 people. The sitting room area meant all 12 of us could meet and eat together. Would highly recommend if skiing in Furano. To get to the main supermarkets in Furano you need a car. We managed perfectly by hiring one car and most of the group getting the airport shuttle which stops fairly close by

The Bears House was an amazing place to stay for skiing in Furano. 20 minutes from the resort, it lets you stay out of the city in the countryside, but you re close enough to get groceries or dinner in town. Eating at the restaurant next door that Dan and Aya run was a highlight of our groups entire trip to Hokkaido. The hosts removed all snow and provided an amazing place for a ski trip destination.

Jimmy was very accommodating and helpful even before and throughout the trip, offering advice and even rides to the ski slopes and Furano city wherever possible. The place is well organized, kept warm during the winter season and clean. Water and hot coffee is provided free at the hall area. Jimmy cares to check your schedule and offer to send and pick you up from the ski resort or town area if there is no other conflicting schedule. His wife is an exceptional cook and we highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the Pension - it is affordable and full of warmth. The serving is better than many restaurants food. A must try if your trip schedule fits the timing. We had a great stay here and will come back again.

This was my favorite place I stayed in all of Japan!! It felt like being in a mountain hut in the Alps - cozy, homey, and comfortable. There were lots of photos and cute quirky pictures/signs everywhere, and it just had a good feeling to it. The staff were INCREDIBLE, and were the highlight for me. They spoke basic English and I was able to have more in depth conversations with Google translate. They were so friendly and helpful - it made it sad to leave on my last day. The room was very comfortable and clean and had strong air conditioning (very important in Furano in the summer). I stayed in a room with multiple bunk-style beds and a couch, and it had a really wonderful view outside. The shared bathroom was always clean and the shower room had a small onsen in it! The location is very good if you have a car. It’s right by Farm Tomita and a 12 minute drive to Furano and a 25 minute drive to Biei. Plus of course, there’s a donkey!!
