If you miss the bus you can walk, it’s not too far if the weather is ok. About a 5-10 min walk. We took a bus from the airport to rusutsu resort and were picked up by the lodge shuttle. Rusutsu is not a very happening place après ski wise so we mostly just had konbini dinners. You can dine at rusutsu resort also if you wish, the restaurants open quite late and there’s a bar with live jazz as well
