Hokkoma Aso Private cottage 1棟貸しコテージ南阿蘇, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Aso, 35 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 45 km from Suizenji Park, as well as 46 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei. This lodge provides free private parking, room service and free WiFi. We stayed for 2 nights at Hokkoma cottage and loved our stay. The property itself was wonderful, had everything we needed and felt like home. Our trip was focused on taking advantage of Aso's beautiful nature and the cottage's location allowed us to do this. It was also great to know that there was a large bath to use after the hike to soak our tired legs!

The rooms are spacious, warm and very comfortable with lovely amenities like a big bathtub and easy to access extras like a private onsen and the observatory, both amazing.

A toaster is also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. This is the best place I have ever stayed in OITA. The house is very nice and very cozy. It is very warm and the place is very beautiful! Even my mum and dad who do not normally say anything was very vocal how much they love the place. The owners were very helpful and very warm people too. Just a note that you cannot go here without a car because it is in the middle of the forest. But renting a car and going here was the best decision we have made for our whole Fukuoka trip!

The property is located 23 km from Suizenji Park, 23 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei and 30 km from Hirayama Hot Spring. The chalet has private entrance. Very cute cabin in the woods with great communication from property hosts to make sure all went smoothly. There was a fire already burning for us when we arrived.
