森のフェアリー Cottage Morino Fairy All cotage with open-air bath with sea view or river view nabízí zahradu, terasu a ubytování s klimatizací, balkonem a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Mori no Fairy is a quaint, cosy wooden cottage that faces the sea. Situated on the south-eastern side of Yakushima island, a stay in this property added a sense of homeliness to an already-magical experience that was Yakushima. I stayed alone, but the size of the cottage would have comfortably fit four people. There were two AC units that kept me warm and comfortable, and a simple yet plush couch to rest your weary legs after hiking through the mystical forests of the island. The bathroom facilities were kept immaculately clean throughout my stay, with warm and cool water available. Towels were changed daily: if you choose to sleep in, they'll leave clean towels outside your room for you. There's a small kitchenette for light cooking: good enough for preparing a simple breakfast or a quick meal to take along with you during your hikes. The highlight of this property is definitely the outdoor deck. There's a small table and some chairs where you can sit and enjoy alfresco-style dining, and two recliners for nightly star-gazing sessions. There's even a small observation deck (accessed via a ladder with about 9 steps) that you can climb up onto for a better view. Last but definitely not least: a goemonburo, which I learned is a traditional Japanese iron bath. Imagine that: being able to soak in your own personal steaming outdoor bath while admiring the sea view that lies before you, and all this after a picturesque but grueling hike when all your muscles are sore. There are some experiences you know will stay with you for life, and this is one of them for me. The hospitality of the property's staff was gracious and welcoming. Upon arrival, my cottage was clearly marked out for me with proper instructions on what to do. They were was very prompt in their replies to my enquiries before I arrived, and they spoke very good English.

Hokkoma Aso Private cottage 1棟貸しコテージ南阿蘇 se nachází v destinaci Aso a nabízí zahradu a terasu. Stadion Egao Kenko Kumamoto se nachází 35 km odtud, Park Suizendži 45 km a Former Hosokawa Residence 46... Exclusive and charming. The wood fire stove was our entertainment :P Mayumi who manages the cottage and the cafe next to it was gracious and ensured we were comfortable. PS: the breakfast AND christmas stollen were delicious!

Okawachiyama LODGE - Village of the Secret Kilns! se nachází v destinaci Imari a nabízí zahradu a terasu. The hosts are very friendly and greeted me with helpful advice and information to ensure a great stay. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable throughout.

Yamashitako Lodge se nachází v destinaci Jufu a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu s terasou a výhled na hory. Stadion Oita Bank Dome se nachází 43 km daleko a Jezero Kinrinko 18 km. A lovely house in the wilderness! You have your own private Onsen, both inside and outside which was fantastic. Hence we didn’t manage to rent a car we had to go there with bus and then walk 3 km from closest bus stop. When the staff found out they immediately offered to drive us the next morning and stay another hour in the house to correspond with our bus to Beppu. Very kind and considerate young man. Thank you, we appreciate it.

This very comfortable cottage was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The Japanese style tatami and cushions in the living room with the heater were very comfortable. Appliances worked great to cook for the two of us and overall a great stay!

The Suite Forest FUKUOKA DAZAIFU -TOBARI- 1日1組限定の貸別荘 大型犬ペット可 se nachází v destinaci Dazaifu a poskytuje zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Dazaifu Tenmangu se nachází jen 5,5 km odtud. House owner is friendly, caring and helpful. Strongly recommended if you are a nature lover. Note that the mountain road is paved but too narrow and winding for unexperienced drivers.

Tsushima Miuda Pension nabízí zahradu, sdílený lounge a sdílenou kuchyň. Pláž Miuda Beach je 200 metrů odtud. Tsushima Miuda Pension is located next to the beach and the hot springs. The huts are simple, but comfortable and the shower water pressure is great. The kitchen comes with a cooking plate and a rice cooker, which was very convenient for me.
