With garden views, Olkinyei Mara Tented Camp is situated in Talek and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.

Ol Kiombo Airport is 15 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The place is what is in the pictures. We stayed in a Luxury King Room for 3 nights. I will focus more on the people as these are not in the pictures. Sandra - definitely the best coordinator I have ever dealt with. On the outset of the planning, she already laid out almost everything that is needed, from detailed costing of activities, timings and possible customization of game drives, to the transparency of the payments. It was a pleasure to plan the trip with her. Francis - our transfer from Nairobi and vice versa. Definitely ask Sandra for this guy for the transfer. You will be surprised at what he can offer on a transfer that's supposedly just plain and simple. Gilbert, Daniel, Joshua - the reception and the servers in the restaurant. Very hardworking people. They are there in both early dinners and quick coffee very early the next day. Very detailed in explaining the inclusions in the room and in the menu. They are also fun to speak with. Checking with you how the daily safaris went. Special mention to Joshua who was very funny. Duncan - a very polite guy helping us with anything in the room. From cleaning the room to putting up and down the zipped curtains outside the tent. Julias - the camp's very own chef. I have zero complaints to the taste and quality of the food. The soups were particularly amazing. Being lactose intolerant, the least I need is an upset stomach on a full day game drive and the team literally made the food dairy free. This is the service I can only expect in an ultra luxury 5-star hotel. Joseph - last but definitely not the least. Probably one of the best game drivers Maasai Mara has to offer. He is very skilled in tracking predator animals. There are times when we came late to the sightings, but once we were there, he was definitely the first one to drive towards the next stop where the big cats would pass through. We had moments where the lions rest in the shadow of our jeep and the leopards pass through us.

Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. All the staffs were nice, warmhearted, and helpful, location close to the airstrip; the camp by the river, you even could see hippos, cocodrilo, impala or dik dik out there; the price includes safari which made things way easier, solo traveler friendly. They even prepared celebration cake and gift for 4 nights guest, I was more than surprised and astonished. Overall our safari guide John was so amazing and extraordinary, so that I had 4 days magical and fantastic safari experience.

Situated in Talek, Kobe Mara features accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views.

Ol Kiombo Airport is 12 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We had an absolutely beautiful week at Kobe Mara, in the Masai Mara Conservancy. We stayed in one of their four tents and had the most incredible wildlife roaming in front of our tent or at the water in front of the main house every single day. Sammy, his right hand Jonathan and their team carried us on their hands and made sure our every need was met with a huge smile. We went on games drives in the Masai Mara with rangers Moses & Alex. Their passion for nature and their culture was tangible in the experience and the knowledge they shared priceless. The chef Julius did wonders in the kitchen & the team even surprised us with a cake and little celebration on our final evening. The experiences we have had in the last week is something we will cherish forever. We cannot wait for our next visit.

Ol Seki Airstrip Airport is 42 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Only the few people staying at the 2 properties can safari on the conservancy. Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

With garden views, Drunken Elephant Mara is set in Sekenani and has a restaurant, a kids' club, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Free WiFi is featured.

Keekorok Airport is 18 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We recently stayed at Drunken Elephant Mara and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful choice. The property is beautifully located inside the Masai Mara National Reserve, giving you the chance to truly immerse yourself in nature—with wildlife frequently wandering close to the camp! The staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, always present around the camp to assist—whether it was guiding us to the restaurant or reception, or helping when animals were nearby. Their constant presence made us feel both safe and well cared for. Our tented room was spacious, luxurious, and extremely comfortable, equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect from a high-end property, without compromising on the authentic safari experience. The meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the team even packed us meal boxes for our game drives. Speaking of which, the game drives arranged by the team were fantastic—well-coordinated and truly memorable. A small but heartwarming gesture was the team placing hot water bottles in our beds at night, which made the chilly Mara evenings extra cozy. A special shoutout to Faheem, the reservations manager, who helped us plan our trip from the start—answering every question with patience and attention. Huge thanks also to Abraham and the rest of the team for their hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend Drunken Elephant Mara for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in the Masai Mara!

Jambo Mara Safari Lodge is situated in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site.

Some units feature a terrace and/or balcony. There is a private bathroom with a shower and bath robes in each unit. Towels are offered. Location, bordering the Masai Mara NP. Being outside actually provides more flexibility. We arrived in the late afternoon, if we had chosen accommodation inside the National Park we would have paid US$200/pp (US$50/child under 18yo) simply to access our accommodation. Regardless of staying inside or outside the park - visitors pay park fees on a daily basis. We were very fortunate and grateful to receive a complimentary upgrade to a glass cabin room. Stepping inside, the room was comparable to a 4.5 star hotel room in the west. The bed and the bedding was super comfortable; bathroom was faultless
