Special thanks to Ravi - family member who speaks very good English and advised us for many things.

The bungalow is spacious, comfy and nicely laid out. The photos on the wall are taken by Isuru himself and are absolutely stunning, he’s one talented photographer! Samadhi cooked amazing Sri Lankan breakfast and dinners and had no issues making them vegetarian for us. We stayed 3 nights, booked a half day and full day safari through the accommodation and we loved every minute of it. Wilpattu is an incredible park filled with lots of wildlife. We also did the walking tour with Isuru and got to see the local farming/land practices and that was good fun, be sure to do it. Isuru and Samadhi are a beautiful couple and we wish them all the best in their new journey with Safaria Lodge.

Also there was a shy elephant marauding each night around our tree house.

It is situated 3.8 km from Kada Panaha Tank and offers room service. Place was beautiful. And the rooms were very clean. Place is owned by a Family and their son runs the resort. Uncle and Aunty were very friendly. The room we bought(for 4 people) is a separate part of the house they live in. But was isolated properly. Eventhough we checked in very late they were very welcoming. We didnt order any food from them so can't evaluate that. Overall a very comforting, secure place. Highly Recommend for a Family or a Group of Friends.❤️

I believe this guest house is ideal for people doing a Wilpattu Safari: - it is located right next to the park entrance. - it is not luxurious, but who needs a luxurious hotel if you are going to spend the entire day on safari anyway? - the AC worked great, the bed slept well and it has an ensuite shower and toilet. - they were happy to supply lunch and breakfast for the safari, and prepare dinner as well. I ate very well there. - the hostess was very kind and happy to help with questions. - if you are lucky you may already spot some animals from your window! I saw a wild peacock and monkeys. But apparently elephants also sometimes roam through nearby fields.
