We were greeted with a pot of Ceylon tea and cookies upon our arrival, and Bandara helpfully arranged tours and airport transfer for us. Bandara is always there whenever we required assistance, he even sent us off at 5:30 in the morning. The property itself is a lovely cottage house overlooking part of the Gregory Lake. Everything is neat and tidy, except hot water supply can be rather unsteady at times and no hairdryer was provided (insofar as we were aware).

Nádherné místo uprostřed čajových plantáží. Naprosto dokonalý servis, připravený opravdu se vším pomoci a najít nejlepší variantu pro vás a ne pro ně, což bylo dost milé a překvapující. Využili jsme výlet do čajové továrny, k jezeru a starému kostelu a to taky stálo za to. Pokud bychom se vraceli,tak určitě sem.

The location is nice, though a bit far from the center; however, it is very peaceful, with no noise or disturbances. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate peace of mind. The cottage’s design is also very charming

The view of Gregory Lake and surrounds was spectacular. The property was a self contained flat above the owners house. It had been tastefully decorated and designed and was extremely clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The bedroom window showed an amazing view which could be seen from the bed. The owner had thought of everything. Tea, coffee, shampoo,, bath wash,. There is also a sitting room with a coffee table I would have taken home if I could. The owner organised a very reasonable tuk tuk to the railway station. There are steepish stairs up to the property but Leslie helped with the luggage.

This house is absolutely beautiful! The location is incredible! Right next to a lake, with the most amazing view. Maskeliya is one of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka, even more stunning than Ella or Nuwara Eliya. I would truly recommend everyone to visit this area. The house itself is new, clean, and in excellent condition. It has two floors, with two large beds and one smaller bed. Perfect for a group or a family. The view from the beds is breathtaking, exactly like in the pictures. What made our stay even more special was the owner, priyanga. He is such a kind, caring, and attentive person. You can really feel how much he enjoys taking care of his guests. I highly recommend letting him cook for you. His food is absolutely delicious, even better than what you would get in a restaurant nearby! He cooks like a professional chef and can prepare dishes the way you like. Also European style and not too spicy if you prefer. We felt so comfortable and happy during our stay. It was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely come back again.
