The owner was super kind and he helped us with everything You can also book a safari tour with the hostel. It was a fair price and the entrance of the N. Park you have there is much less crowdy than the most famous one. We could see many different animals, and our guide Weli was also very nice guy. He speaks good english and after the safari we shared a beer and a very nice talk. If you want visit a local village... Very recomended place!!! 10/10

The staff was very helpful and kind, they packed us breakfast at 4.30am for the Yala safari. On request they prepared lunch and dinner for us and left the rooms on the way back from the safari to change and take a shower.

The chalets are built on stilts 5 feet above the ground. Kele Yala provides all rooms with a balcony, and all rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Rooms at the accommodation also feature air conditioning and a desk. The property offers a view of the surrounding wilderness. Jerome the property manager tries real hard to make your stay enjoyable. It’s a very peaceful place in a safari type environment. The pool is relaxing and enjoyable. The food was great. And since you are in the middle of nowhere it’s good to plan on having their food. It’s true it’s Sri Lankan food, so be prepared for limited options, but the quality and experience is incredible! We loved it! We felt completely safe eating and drinking what they served us. Which we didn’t always feel that way at other places we stayed at. Very thankful for that! We would totally come back again! It’s worth it for a calm getaway.

One of the most unforgettable moments was the amazing dinner we had on the rock, with a fire burning beside us under the open sky—it was truly magical and unlike anything I've experienced before. The traditional Sri Lankan meals were another highlight—so flavorful and made with love. If you're looking for a unique jungle experience with warm hospitality and unforgettable moments, this place is absolutely worth it. I can’t wait to return!
