Everything is really clean, lots of nature, many fruit trees 💗 Plus: I got sick from the journey and they worried about me, they even got me liquid oral rehydration salts (suero), so thankful for that.

Location is great. Friendly and helpful staff - come prepared to speak Spanish!

Absolutely stunning property situated in the middle of the jungle with beautiful views. You are right in the middle of it all - the sounds, smells and views are all amazing and so relaxing. Breakfast was unreal and staff was lovely. This was a beautiful experience for us!

We woke up very early for the volcano hike, and they prepared breakfast for us so we could eat before, that was really nice. The staff was very kind and attentive. The shower had hot water. The surroundings are nice, you eat in the morning surrounded by birds and flowers. The hike to Maderas starts at the entrance of the hotel, and the staff can help you to arrange a guide.

We had an amazing stay here and it was really hard to leave. Hector is an extremely kind host, and the food right across the street is incredible. We stayed in July and Playa Santa Cruz was really quiet and a great place to be.
