Steve the host was great, very friendly, brought his highland cows down in the morning for me to meet. His dog Aggi was also very sweet, hung out with me for a while on the porch. Highly recommend this retreat.

Gems is a wonderful location that is rig by at the start of 90 mile beach. The beach is expansive and the appearance of wild horses made it special. Accommodations are very comfortable for an overnight stay or longer. A great location in Ahipara!

We had a very large room with everything you need for a lovely stay. The highlight, however, were the incredibly valuable tips and advice from Judy and her husband. We have travelled a lot, but we have never received such personal (and handwritten) advice and tips for our trip. We can unreservedly recommend a stay there!

Everything, the place was perfect, well equiped and very clean, the host was great and very responsive if needed. We had a rented car to travel around so the location was great for it.

The Endless Summer Lodge is a WONDERFUL place to stay in this area of Northland. It felt like home from the minute we walked into the door. The rooms are really nice, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, lovely outdoor areas and the sweetest dog to cuddle. ❤️ Anna & her husband are the most wonderful hosts and make this a place you want to stay forever! The staff and visitors alike were friendly, open and interesting to talk with. Great energy at Endless Summer!

The location right on the beach with decks and outdoor furniture is great. We enjoyed several meals on the deck. The rooms were recently renovated and very nice. Brian & Rosemary were very helpful with suggestions on places to see on our outings.
