Bamboo Lodge is a true gem in Bocas. The property is new, spotless, and very well maintained. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and well equipped, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The pool area is superb — spacious, beautifully designed, and the perfect place to unwind. From the deck, you can often spot monkeys in the surrounding trees, an unforgettable experience (just don’t feed or touch them). The lodge is about 10 minutes from Bocas town, with taxis easy to find for $1–2 per ride, so you get peace and quiet without being far from restaurants, bars, and activities. There are also nice dining options within walking distance. If you want comfort, tranquility, and nature while still being close to town, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended.

This was such a unique trip. You are at a secluded location, immersed in nature. As far as food, I am still craving it. It was all natural, yummy, and 5 star. Her homemade chocolate was amazing. I have a lot of allergies and she catered to them. It was the best I ate on our 6 week trip. We got to see so many animals; sloths, red dart frogs, sloths, toucans, and more. The boat trip was amazing and is highly recommended. Fabrice and Judith were so welcoming and informative. We traveled with our 5 year old who also had a great time in the jungle ( she especially loved the chocolate and is still talking about it).

Maxxi and Jane were such great hosts. Jungle Paunch is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely come back to this place. It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.

Ely is super helpful and nice, the property is in the middle of the island so gives you privacy and is very quiet and good for relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need, I just cooked my breakfast there but pretty sure you can cook your daily 3-5 meals. The terrace space is beautiful for reading, chill and to see the new year fireworks :)
