The location is fascinating and the staff here are so kind especially Gabi with her welcoming smile and Juan Carlos who accompanied us all the way to our rooms and back to the dining room.

We booked Llactapata Lodge for the last night of the Salkantay trek. Heaved ourself up the mountain and arrived to surely one of the most stunning panaramas in the world: a beautiful display of sun and rainbows framing Machu Picchu in the distance. Same view from the bed and in the (hot and good!) shower of the cute little hut perched on the ridge. Food was good and copious! It's not a 'luxury' hotel but it was luxury for us after the trail. We arrived a bit earlier than the staff expected us (1.30ish) and they don't really provide lunch but they gave us mountains of popcorn! There are worse ways to spend the afternoon than with popcorn and beer watching epic skies over Machu Picchu. Really magical place.

You really get a whole experience already beginning with the climb. I already paid one of the guides to take photos. That meant that I could enjoy the climb and the stay without thinking of taking pictures. It is definitely worth it. The meals were outstanding and there were plenty. The pod is a ‘once in a lifetime’ kind of experience. And even though it Can be cold (I visited during the Winter in Peru) take your time and go to the roof of the pod and look at the stars. Also, have in mind that the facilities are primitive but works Well (you are hanging several hundred meters over the Ground) The guides were fantastic. Their english is good, and you felt very safe with Them.

Eco Quechua Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge offering private balconies with river and mountain views. Guests can take canopy, coffee, water falls, hot springs and hiking excursions. Very calming. Delicious breakfast. The best staff! A wonderful place to connect with nature and yourself.

Sonidos del Ande Wasi se găsește în Pisac, la 36 km de Gara Wanchaq și la 28 km de Pukapukara, și are vedere la munte și WiFi gratuit. Very quiet and cozy place. Spacious room with comfortable bed, kitchen with all necessary equipment, hot shower, very nice host and beautiful views around. I felt like home here! I recommend this place to those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I loved it here!

Rudy and Claudia are doing a wonderful job making travelers feel like at home ❤️ My boyfriend and I have absolutely loved this place, and if we ever come back to Peru, we would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect, we have made this place a base camp for three nights, and visited all the sites nearby - salt mines in Maras, Ollantaytambo and many others. The place is spotless, spacious, they offer great breakfast and dinner, Claudia is an amazing chef 👩‍🍳. You can also enjoy sauna and yoga, but we didnt manage this time. It is super quite at night, and who knows, maybe you also run into their super wellbehaved pets - Max and Tupac 🐶 🦙 thank you so so so much!!! Wendy & Ondrej

It’s in a great location away from everything. There is a beautiful river nearby and a great stroll through the jungle as well. There is lots of wildlife. We saw all sorts of mammals and birds. The cabins are beautifully made and the very comfortable and clean. The shower is exceptional. They even offer you gumboots which are great to get around in.

Starlodge Adventure Suites se găsește la 35 km de Bus Station și are o grădină, o terasă și un serviciu de transfer gratuit. Se oferă la locație parcare privată. Star lodge was exceptional. The location, the food, the staff the activities. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. A special thanks to Bryan and Alan for being so welcoming & helpful throughout. Would strongly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay in Starlodge for a unique experience
