Amazing brand new place, designed with care and attention to detail at a peaceful location near natural pools and hiking routes. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, giving us tips for multiple activities around the island and making sure we have everything we need during our stay. Highly recommended, really great value for the price. We'd love to come back and stay longer.

The owner Jan was very friendly and helpful with great tips and suggestions for our trip on Pico. Breakfast was excelent with homemade bread and lots of variations every day.

Fully stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom - it's clear the hosts thought through all the things that guests would need to be comfortable - and then went beyond. As soon as I made my reservation, I could already tell I would be sad when it came time to leave.The hosts were very responsive and clear in their communication, giving great instructions and accommodating an early check in which we appreciated after our red eye flight. Silvia took great care of us. The room is very comfortable for two people and stylish. The jacuzzi with a view of Pico was perfect. The area is quiet and peaceful, with backyard views of Pico and front yard views of vineyards and the ocean. It's a short walk to a winery where you can book a tasting and a 15-20 minute drive into the main town. We strongly recommend Casas do Amarelo and hope to be back. It's simply perfect.
