The host quickly helped me get oriented and explained where everything was. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely visit this place again!

It was amazing - super view, very nice area directly at the lake, so cozy to really relax and enjoy (even with 5 person in the lodge), super equipped and northern lights view from the bed. The bed was very comfortable and modern with elevation that you can adjust and watch the nice view of the lake from your bed. The owners Cecilia and Mikael where very nice and helpful with everything we needed. We loved it and sure we will be back.

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. Location was beautiful beyond words, very good breakfast, very nice staff, tickets to the museum were included and also feeding the reindeer, they offer transfer to their restaurant at dinner time. Very good spot for watching the aurora and there is also a sauna and hot tub included. Bonus: in winter, you can walk across the river to Nutti Sami Sida museum and the route it’s much shorter They can order you a taxi or provide transfer if needed

Kiruna Airport is 17 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The place was nice and comfy. It was close to a frozen lake so when the aurora hits, it was exceptional. The place fits for the 4 of us, with a complete set of kitchen utensils for cooking.

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included. We had a great time at the Aurora Camp. The hut had everything we needed and the private sauna with the instruction video was great. It would have been nice to provide more small firewood to start the fire but we collected it around the camp. The sauna heats up really fast and it's great fun to jump into the cold lake after using it. As expected there were many mosquitoes but the hut has a screen door which was very helpful.
