Situated in Kiruna and only 18 km from Kiruna Train Station, Reindeer Riverfront Aurora lodge features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts were super nice and the cabin was well appointed. Surroundings were peaceful and the cabin is not far from Kiruna.

Northernlight cabin 2 is set in Kiruna, 22 km from LKAB Visitor Centre, 36 km from Esrange Space Center, and 20 km from Kiruna Folkets Hus. Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !

Northernlight cabin is a beachfront property situated in Kiruna, 19 km from Kiruna Bus Station and 22 km from LKAB Visitor Centre. Great place, great view, great host

Featuring lake views, Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

This hotel is in Abisko, just 2 minutes’ walk from Abisko Östra Train Station. Abisko Mountain Lodge’s in-house restaurant Brasserie Fjällköket has a seasonal menu based on locally sourced... This is a cozy lodge in a small town so facilities are very nice considering this. Room was very very clean and the overall facilities were nice. The breakfast was very good, with several options and a nice dining room. Staff was very very friendly.

Reindeer Lodge features a sauna and free private parking, and is within 23 km of Kiruna Train Station and 20 km of Kiruna Bus Station. Beautiful secluded location, authentic accommodations - just a lovely place to stay if you’re on the more adventurous side

Set in Jukkasjärvi, 23 km from Kiruna Train Station and 21 km from Kiruna Bus Station, Camp Caroli Wooden Cabins offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views. I liked absolutely everything. Great experience of escaping from the city and being among nature. Stefan is a great host! We also took a snowmobile tour and enjoyed winter activities. Also, from the house along the lake you can walk in an hour to the ice hotel, and along the way you can enjoy the snow, mountains, forest and beautiful views. I hope that we will return to Camp Caroli once again to see the northern lights again and live this experience away from the city alone with nature.

Surrounded by forest, Aurora Camp Kurravaara is right by the Torne River, 13 km from Kiruna Airport. Facilities include a sauna and a furnished terrace. One of the best places we've ever stayed. Main disclaimer is you absolutely need a car to stay here. If you are not renting a car, stay closer to town. We had a car and intentionally booked a place outside of town that would give us greater visibility of the aurora. The location of this property is unlike any other. You can go on hikes to see the lights at all hours of the night and you get 360 degree views of the sky if you walk out onto the lake. The wilderness left cabin was equipped with everything we could ever need. Warm, comfortable beds, great shower facility and best of all was our private sauna. The staff was extremely helpful when we struggled making a fire for the sauna. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return someday!

Just 500 metres from the slopes of Riksgränsen Ski Resort, these apartments feature private balconies and modern kitchens with microwaves, fridges and tea/coffee makers. Nice place with beautiful views. Kitchen had everything needed.
