A piece of Paradise, we loved EVERYTHING here, amazing hospitality! We stayed in the beautiful (clay) ECO House, constructed by the owner himself, with lots of love for details ("dry toilet") a marvelous garden and delicious food. If you are crazy enough to arrive by car, you might want to leave it at the main road and take a shortcut by walking, as it's pretty adventurous otherwise... No hot water - which wasn't a problem at all

Nastanitev Fromagerlodge je od znamenitosti Basse-Casamance National Park oddaljena 22 km in nudi restavracijo, sezonski zunanji bazen, vrt ter teraso. Giulio and the entire family at Fromager are excellent hosts! The property itself is in a lovely garden setting, shady and cool. Our bungalow was clean and comfortable with hot water. Best of all was the pizza and pasta served, along with good bread, coffee and wine -- very Italian! Giulio also helped us secure ferry tickets, saving us a trip to Zinguinchor to buy them. And although the location is not on the beach, once you cross the big road, the path is a lovely, sandy track, taking about 15 minutes. It's a very long walk into town (45 minutes?) but you can jump in a taxi easily enough.

In a very quiet location in the forest. Plenty of vegetation. We very much liked the staff and they became our friends: Petit Joe, Babu and others.
