Kookai and Wun (the owners) are AMAZING! We were made to feel so welcome and everything was designed to make us happy and help us. Kookai and Wun are fun and will help you with anything. They helped sort out our onward travel - ferry and taxi transfer at half the price we were quoted by our next home stay/hotel. The bungalow was clean and situated in lovely gardens. The food was consistently of a high standard. Kookai helped my wife get her hair cut!!! Kookai also gave my wife a motorbike ride to the beach when I took the bungalow key!! Sunset/Charlie beach is a 4 minute walk away - one of the best beaches in Thailand.

The breakfast in the morning was incredible and the restaurant is on the beach and is such a nice setting. The food for lunch and dinner was also delicious - especially the sour yellow fish soup! The beach by the hotel isn’t great for swimming but you can rent a scooter for the day for about £6 and then get to and from the beach quickly and of course a scooter is always fun :). Koh Muk is a beautiful island, all of the restaurants we ate at were incredible and not expensive compared to other islands, and the snorkelling is good too (we saw a huge turtle!). Overall, this was our favourite hotel of our entire 5 week trip!

Offering a sandy beach area and water sport facilities, KALUME' Eco Boutique Resort-Adult only also boasts a restaurant, a relaxing massage service and a luscious tropical garden. We loved our stay at Koh Kradan! The room was cute and a great bathroom. The property was beautiful with flowers and plants and a lovely beach. We saw a spotted eel after 2 minutes snorkeling in front. The food was honestly like being in Italy! Everything was exceptional. The included breakfast was delicious and the we had all our other meals there that were amazing. Stefano the owner helped us with everything and was great to deal with. The reef at the national park and further down the beach from that was so good. We saw so many varieties of fish including huge pufferfish, clown type, small sting rays, eels and lots more. If you love snorkeling and Italian food this is your place 😊 There are other places to eat at other resorts but we never felt the need. Thanks Stefano!

The place is really clean and comfortable. While it’s not a luxury stay, it has everything you need - it definitely exceeded our expectations based on the pictures. The bed is super comfy, comfiest we had in Thailand so far! The little area the huts are in is really beautiful and well maintained, and right nearby a strip of lovely restaurants, amenities and the beach. It feels super local which is really nice, like you’re part of the island. The lady that runs is an incredible host, super smiley and helped out with everything from transfers to motorbike rental. One day we burst our bike tyre at the beach and she came right away, took the bike, and it was replaced within the hour. Every morning breakfast is brought to your hut at your chosen time, it’s a lovely touch. We would 1000% recommend and will definitely stay again :)
