It was a spur of the moment take off and stay somewhere for a night for my wife’s birthday. The owners were very nice and left a birthday card and a bottle of wine. The cabin was clean and cozy. The Lodge at Flat Rock has a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Upward. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, a business centre and free WiFi. The hotel has a barbecue and an indoor pool. What a lovely stay we had at The Lodge! The facility is really nice and the service is absolutely spot on. The staff welcomed us on arrival and gave us all the info we needed. The room was sparkling clean and very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. The lovely message we found in the room and the one the staff left us before leaving was nothing short of a pleasant surprise. I found the beds to be very comfortable allowing for a great night sleep and overall the entire area was really quiet. There is also free breakfast for everyone and the only nit is that there were not many options available for vegans but there was plenty of food. This is definitely a place I would gladly come back to if I'll visit the area again in the future. 100% recommended!

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. Loved how remote and quiet the lodge was on the owners property. Did have some issues getting to property, but that was in no way the hosts fault

Cabin had two porches. One was covered with rocking chairs and the other was all open to see the views with a table and chairs and two zero chairs.

Asheville Regional Airport is 123 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful View!! Mrs. Melissa was amazing. She helped us with everything we asked about. We had great conversation with her and the other lady that helps her with the resort. We left early Saturday to hit Pigeon Forge and she had us a Togo breakfast waiting on us. We could not have asked for a better stay 10/10 recommend Long View.
