We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. And karaoke night was very entertaining and we very much enjoyed ourselves

We absolutely loved the walks on the property - beautifully thought-out and clearly sign-posted. Paths are so well maintained and points of interest kept up engaged and looking forward to exploring even more.

Very welcoming and told us about the area and told us lots of fascinating stories about his life. Highly recommend the cottage, it had everything we needed and was close by to a Spar to get food. We went to the Sani Pass and Lesotho extended trip which is a must when you're staying in the area. Barry can organize this for you!

Guests can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and nature reserves. The scenery is really something else. You are already quite remote in this part of ZA but once they bring you up with the 4x4 the only people you will encounter are those on the premise itself. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. All in all great value and a very relaxing place with great views and hikes!
