We received great tips on where to go and when from him, and the home cooked dinner was one to remember. The hotel itself has a fantastic vibe between how it is painted and decorated, and of course the terrace overlooking the palms and farmland. The room was a great size, outfit with a fridge and a comfortable bed. We were at ease and relaxed the entire time.

Well; where do I start.... the location is perfect, in the middle of the palms plantation. the guesthouse has been restored meticulously are represent 100% the traditional Omani family home. Breakfast was TOP and the amazing dinner was shared with host whom answered the multiple questions we had. The second night we had a lovely chat on the terrace and for me this was the highlight of my time in Oman. I left Al Hamra with a bit of sadness, but made my mind up that I will be back to visit Emina and her fantastic friends in the next few years. 10 on all accounts

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. A perfect place to visit Nizwa and surroundings. Close to the souk, the goatmarket (on Friday- not to miss), the old town. We stayed 5 nights. Everything was very clean. There were a shower and a beautiful bath. The kitchen is not wat we expect in Europe. Only a microwave, a waterkettle and a Dolcegusto coffeemachine. But eating outside is so cheap, we didn’t bother. We truly recommend this apartment!!!

The holiday home also offers 2 bathrooms. The accommodation is non-smoking. The location of the property is at the start of Balcony walk. We stayed one night and started Balcony walk at 8am. Before groups. We returned at 11.30 and took a shower. Our car was parked in front of the room. For getting there you definitely need 4WD car. Last few kilometers are realy bad. There is posibility for local breakfast for 3orm per person. There is also a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast on your own. The host was friendly. He explain us everything. He was waiting for us with tea.

It was amazing to stay in a traditional house in the middle of Mizfah’s old town! Absolutely loved it!

Amazing location, right at the beginning of W6 trail and very quiet at night. Only a bit difficult to reach if you don't have a AWD/4x4 car. Super nice area to enjoy a barbecue/bonfire. Be aware there is no wifi and signal is limited (not a problem if you are aware of it).
