The hotel is located very close to "TC8 Soldeu" ski lift, so it only takes 5 minutes to walk there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean. Breakfast and dinner are very good.

Great staff great facilities and fabulous food

Such a great hotel, with wonderful owners and staff. Our room was huge, we didn't realize we had such a large suite for ourselves. Breakfast and dinner were both great, plenty of variety and food was simple and tasty. The happy hour was a nice benefit as the half price beers and wine were quiet inexpensive. We enjoyed the music night on Wednesday. We also really appreciated the ride up to the gondola each morning, just made it super easy to start our ski day. The walk back in the afternoon was a great way to stretch your legs after a day on the mountain. The town of Soldeu is nice, plenty of options for lunch on a day off from skiing. The Andorra bus system is super easy, we took the bus to the capital city for one of our days. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, they were all attentive, friendly and happy. We had nice chats with the other guests over dinners, it made the week fun and social.

Everything. What a great place. Design perfect. Dinner great. The best breakfast ever. Impeccable service. I would rate it an 11 if I could.

The hotel is quite new, very cozy, and conveniently located within walking distance of the El Tarter gondola. Overall, the stay was super nice, we had everything needed for a perfect winter holiday in the mountains: a warm, nicely decorated, and sparkling clean room with bathrobe and slippers included, a delicious à la carte breakfast, and a ski storage room. All the facilities are very new and modern, the linens and bedding are super comfortable, and we especially loved their bed plaids. The staff was super nice and attentive, and we never felt that we were lacking anything. Overall, it was such a nice experience that I wouldn’t hesitate to repeat it again whenever we can.

We loved everything about L'Ovella Negra - the concept, the design, the comfort, the location, the live music and the joyous vibe, the food and above all the wonderful and friendly staff. This is a place where you are able to switch off completely, soak in the amazing mountain views, go on hikes, sit by the fire and eat the best dishes. One can see really that the team loves what they do, they like working together and it shows. We travel as a family with small kids, which is not always easy, but the staff made sure we felt completely at home. The staff also gives super helpful tips and ideas for daily activities. If you go, I highly recommend more than one night stay, we did three nights and then you can really feel the place. We hope to be back one day and if not there, in the sister house in South Africa - Kokos Huis :)

The breakfast was exceptional

Perfect location - very close to the gondola station. Bus station is near the hotel. Carrefour - 5 minutes walk. The hotel is clean, nice spacious room, well equipped with everything. Free ski lockers proivided. Free WiFi is good. It says 2 star hotel, just because there's no parking there. But it's a strong 3-star hotel, absolutely!

Spa, Koy restaurant, view, wonderful staff - You can have the best location, an interesting building, lots of facilities (and they do have all that), but it´s always the staff and the care that makes a hotel worth a rating of 10.
