FAQs about hotels in Dubai

The Jewel of the Desert

The cosmopolitan and architecturally stunning Dubai is a truly global city. With its ultramodern skyscrapers, the artificial archipelago of Palm Islands and the world’s largest shopping mall, Dubai offers something for every taste.

Surrounded by a desert, this city is the futuristic gem of the Middle East and the United Arab Emirates. Chic yachts call the city’s upscale marina home, as well as the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake and the world's largest dancing Dubai Fountain. With all of this, visitors might momentarily forget they are in a desert.

You can relax on a beautiful sandy beach, explore the local souks and their treasures or enjoy a trip to the amazing Dubai Desert. Don’t forget to stop at Burj Khalifa’s observation deck and admire the city panorama from nearly 1500 feet.

Dubai has even more to offer: camel races, hot air balloon flights, fast rides over sand dunes and even snow skiing! Make sure you try local cuisine and visit the Spice Souk, famous for its thousand and one spices.

Getting to the city center from Dubai International and Sharjah International Airports is easy. Whether you’re looking for a stunning luxury hotel, a beachfront suite or an intimate resort, Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Dubai adventure.

We did the desert safari tour at sunset - organised through Emirates and highly recommend it. We also did the Top of Burj Khalifa at Sunrise, this was a really heartwarming experience. Using the Metro (redline) was very easy and affordable (get multiple day pass). Byron Bathers at the Palm was great for access to resort pool style (very family friendly) a lot like an Aussie beer garden, but with pool area.

It was the best, now extremely expensive and the parking is a disaster everywhere, last time to ever rent a car in Dubai (cost of parking and tolls triple me rent cost, exceeding parkinh time slot by one minute penality eqyal to full dat car rent).

Dubai is an excellent place that can meet and surpass the expectations of any person, for any length of stay, and any time of the year. Dubai is already so very well connected with bus, tram, taxi, monorail, metro services and with a variety of hotel / apartment stay options, that it is an excellent location for any type of budget. A visit to the Museum of the Future, is a must for everyone, and it will just leave you baffled on the way UAE is going to look in the very near future. Given a choice, I could stay there forever.... !! Cheers.

There is so much to see and do in Dubai. The best part of this beautiful city is the safety. It's nice to feel safe in a city, especially when you travel with family. I also love the people of Dubai, so friendly and hospitable.

What they have achieved in Dubai, in a relatively short space of time, is amazing. It comes across as very vibrant place and is clearly a hub where more people will want to do business. All the developments appear to have been done to a high standard, with no corner cutting in terms of quality.

must visit. there are a lot of activities for couples, for families , for kids, for art lovers, for adventures lovers, there are a lot of beautiful beaches. Best time to go to Dubai is from February to June, or October-November. Between June-September is too hot for outside activities, and between November- February is a bit cold for beach activities.

One of the best place to stay in the center of Dubai …this property offers budget accommodation with a complete feel of a 5 star with almost all amenities. The roof top pool is the iconic one giving you a breathtaking view of the Dubai Skyline..The hotel also boast to have 3 restaurants and a coffee shop serving all types of cuisines..The rooms are a bit small but that compensates for the other benefits.Easy connectivity to the airport and other tourist places in Dubai makes it an ideal getaway.

In Dubai a lot for work and stayed at a few locations like JBR, Marina, Palm Jumeirah, downtown etc.. and this was definitely the best location of them all. From the moment Zena checked me it the whole experience was great. Dubai has a lot of lovely hotels in lovely locations but what let's all the ones I stayed in down is the food is usually awful. To be fair the Hilton food was awesome and for the first time ever I didn't get food poisoning.
