Offering an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness center, luxurious Cap Juluca is located in Maundays Village Beach. One of the best hotels I even stayed in my life. The rooms facing the ocean and just steps away from the sand are incredible. Soaking tub, double sink, everything in the room was elegant and practical. Guests have a B&O bluetooth portable speaker at their disposal. Designated sunbeds and giant umbrellas and very kind beach service. Incredible breakfast with a breathtaking view. Concierge arranged everything we needed - from ferry transport, to restaurant reservations and car rentals. It is indeed a 5 star hotel in everything you can think of.
Offering free WiFi and an ocean front swimming pool, Turtle's Nest Beach Resort is located in the middle of Meads Bay beach. Saint Martin is 8.1 mi away. Free private parking is available on site. Great apartment. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Best beach ever. Complementary rum punch every afternoon brought to the beach was also great. I highly recommend it to anyone!
Four Seasons Resort and Residence Anguilla is located 656 feet from the beach on the Caribbean Sea and next to Meads Bay Pond. It features a furnished terrace with 3 swimming pools and free WiFi. Food was amazing. Staff was helpful, friendly and very generous. Amazing beaches of the hotel. Room was huge.
Facing the beachfront, Carimar Beach Club offers 3-star accommodations in Meads Bay and has free bikes, garden and fitness center. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and ticket service. Fantastic beach. Old time Caribbean charm that is hard to find anymore. Laid back and relaxed atmosphere with modern amenities. Very friendly staff. Close to good restaurants and bars. What more could anyone ask for in a vacation spot. You should stay here.
I had some trouble with hotel bookings. Some places hired really good deceptive photograghers. I fell in love with Anguilla last year during a 5 day stop over after 2 weeks in St Barths. The beaches were uncomparable--I couldn't wait to return. Came back for 18 days to celebrate milestone birthday. I love spending summertime at beach but never thought to go to Caribbean in summer. Great idea on many levels--the prices are lower in off season, place isn't rainy or humid(trade winds) or abandoned in July and the beaches and the water, OMG alot better than Maine or Cape Cod. Nice restaurants ---The Sunset room at the new Four Seasons and Straw Hat ( for breakfast. Lunch and romantic dinner) and the people are warm and welcoming Meads bay is stunning and less congested that Shoal Bay East although both areas offer uncomparable beaches. Rendezvous bay is a treasure with both high end and less expensive places to stay, it still feels like a well kept secret. Mead's bay worries me because it is so beautiful ( and possibly underpatrolled) I noticed an increase in 'poachers'-- watercraft that set anchor way closer than a nations water boundry, clearly not registering in a harbor or dock. I smelled gasoline in the shallow waters and a murkyness that wasn't there a year ago. Anguilla may need to establish a system of limiting or eliminating unregulated vessels from upsetting a deicate and beautiful ecosystem.
