United StatesNorthstar Villas was absolutely exceptional. The villa was in perfect condition, beautifully maintained, and located in a peaceful area. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were super comfortable, and the Jacuzzi was the cherry on top. It truly lived up to its name, a real North Star experience. We had such a great time and truly enjoyed our stay.

NetherlandsThese A-frames are adorable, and the location is top notch—just before the ascent up the pass to Theth. The real value is the host…we aren’t the type to ask for help, but when you pop two tires 4km from the nearest paved road that’s passable without a 4x4, 90 minutes from where you’re staying, and the rental car company tells you they can’t help….well Marian could! He got us a ride out to our car, up the impassable road, back down to the lake at 17:53….where they somehow located 2 21” tires in 7 minutes before everything closed, and arranged a ride back up the mountain road with the tire shop owner. They even talked to the rental car agency in Montenegro to let him know they were getting it taken care of. I have to give credit to the shepherd that helped us find the license plate that popped off and saved us from having to file a police report.

The food is home made and tasty, the quantity is more than enough. You can see the animals the family owns and drink natural cow milk. The bed was the most comfy I had in a 2 week holiday and the cleanliness does not disappoint. I really liked the fresh smell of the house.

Mountains and hiking but without tourists and crowds like in Theth. Friendly and accommodating locals because most tourists do not stay overnight in Boge. Boge is only a quick stop for coffee then people continue to/from Theth.
