The property was beautiful. The location was very close to everything you could need or want to experience in Sarande, while still being private and a quiet oasis from the loud music and bustling Sarande promenade. The private beach was a huge bonus. The gym was brand new and had more equipment than your average hotel, you could get a serious workout in, if you wanted to. The staff offered to pick us up from the ferry terminal and drop us off at the bus station which made our arrival and departure a breeze. We felt very spoiled staying here and would definitely return.

I really liked staying in Kamara rooms. The building is brand new and everything is very clean. We had everything we needed. There was a very good coffee. I loved the terrace with sea view which is very enjoyable. Most importantly the building is away from the downtown noise but very close for reaching down. Special thanks to Mario for his hospitality.

    Sarande is not very clean & there are a lot of half constructed hotels everywhere. The promenade has many tacky bars, a strip club & amusements along it. Aesthically it does not present well. The whole town lacks charm. There are too many beach clubs you have to pay to enter which makes the town feel like a wannabe Ibiza. The public beach is nice and the water is lovely to swim in.

    Sarandë itself was great for a holiday and there are many great day trips you can do also. We enjoyed seeing Gjirokaster and the Blue Eye spring as well as the view from Sarandë castle. The fresh produce is wonderful- great food! Great value and friendly, happy people.

    The beaches are quite crowded as this is a popular...

    The beaches are quite crowded as this is a popular destination due to the easy ferry access from Corfu and Italy. Coming from Australia we are not used to sitting on pebbled beaches for long periods. We stayed seven days and, in that time, visited Gjirokaster and the Blue eye (day tour with Rei Tours), Butrint and Ksamil. We probably could have done all that in 5 days as well as relaxing in Sarande.

    Certainly not the next Rivera!

    Certainly not the next Rivera! Really ugly in terms of the newer buildings. Not much to do there at all except for going to the beach. Every shop had fake brands in them and that’s it! Lacked any cultural feel. No customer service. In general people were very very rude and not pleasant to deal with. Streets were really dirty.

    Sarande as the city itself was not my cup of tea, too many crowds, too many buildings. Might be good for young travelers as there is a lot of entertainment Parking is a nightmare in Sarande, and if you have to , be prepared to pay 10 EUR, regardless of the length of your stay. Taxis are cheap though, in case you don't rent a car. Lot of choices for eateries. We stayed at Heaven Beach, 10 min away from Sarande itself, loved it.

    The nature is stunning, food delicious like made at home. Nevertheless, the drivers are crazy, don't follow rules making it very dangerous to drive. Big contrast regarding hotels and streets: while a lot of hotels are new, streets are still broken and with piles of construction materials, not really beautiful

    Lovely family-owned boutique hotel with amazing staff. Great location in Saranda, easily accessible by car and walkable from the beach. Delicious breakfast with different options to choose from. Parking available on the street in front of it and not much street noise, because of very little traffic in that street. Great location for visiting the nearby mountains, Blue eye etc. Nice newly renovated rooms with plenty of space.

    Very nice service, willing to help. The conditions were ideal for me. Maximum privacy, it was like home!!! I lived there for two weeks and they never let me down. A high standard apartment like in Saranda in Albania. Clean, elegant, polite, I RECOMMEND!!!! If you travel a lot and are tired of the rigid hotel atmosphere - here you will find privacy, peace and a homely atmosphere.
