I liked everything about this hotel: the location is perfect (it is on the side street so the noise from the street does not reach out to the room), the hotel's reception met me with a welcome drink and dried fruits. The room has all amenities one can need and it is not a problem to ask for more if you ran out of something you need. I was leaving earlier, so the reception prepared a take-away breakfast, called me when taxi arrived. I have also got upgrade to a better room with a sofa.

It has probably seen its best days as of now but you can feel it is a 5 star hotel and everyone makes an effort to live up to being a small grand hotel. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff wonderful and the location is perfect. I liked the turndown service. All of this at a reasonable price which is why I think it is the best option for this money in Yerevan and definitely much nicer than the high rated 4 star hotels.

    Yerevan felt quite similar to mid-sized cities in Iran. It’s not as crowded as the capitals of neighboring countries like Tehran or Istanbul, but there’s still a lot of honking in the streets. Prices were a bit high compared to the overall urban setting and available facilities. People were generally kind and welcoming, though very few spoke English. In my opinion, two weeks is a bit too long for Armenia as a trip. We also visited Dilijan and Lake Sevan, which were nice spots (3/5). The food was tasty but usually too salty for my taste. Also, I wouldn’t rely too much on Google ratings when choosing restaurants here.

    You fall in love with this city instantly, kind people,...

    You fall in love with this city instantly, kind people, crazy beautiful and clean, the smile of people makes you smile too :-) very safe city and where I will always help you if you need help, most people speak English and Russian and naturally in Armenian and it is very convenient for tourists. About the cuisine is a separate story incredibly delicious food, inexpensive and I highly recommend you to go to the canteens almost any there prices are very cheap but insanely delicious, there is a national cuisine where cooked at home and I'm sure you will appreciate even better than in restaurants. I fell madly in love with this city in this country I wish prosperity)

    3 days including a tour was perfect - walkable city but not a great deal to see/visit; stay on the left side of the main Mashtots Avenue - more shops, cafes/restaurants and a more cosmopolitan vibe.

    I fell in love with Armenia.

    I fell in love with Armenia. I spent 6 days in Yerevan, which gave me enough time to explore the city and take a few incredible trips around it. Yerevan — the city of fountains — welcomed me with warmth, history, and beauty at every step. I loved wandering through its streets, visiting Matenadaran, the History Museum, the Cascade, and the Vernisazh market, and enjoying the singing and dancing fountains in the evening. A highlight was attending the opera Anoush at the Opera House — an unforgettable experience. Beyond the city, I was lucky to visit breathtaking places like Lake Sevan, Zvartnots Temple, Echmiadzin (which I absolutely adored), Geghard Monastery, and Garni Temple. I also got to join a lavash baking class — such a fun and tasty experience! The monasteries, the stunning nature, and, of course, the delicious food made every day special. Armenia left me with beautiful memories, and I would absolutely recommend Yerevan to anyone looking for culture, history, nature, and heartwarming hospitality.

    The Bad: The city is way too noisy, seriously high air...

    The Bad: The city is way too noisy, seriously high air pollution, very expensive, poor public transportation, for a non-Armenian there isn't much to see beyond restaurants, not enough parks and green spaces, expensive hotels and rental apartments, super expensive restaurants. The Good: Many summer events, great food (but pricey), great balette & opera house, great main square. Most interesting things to see are outside Yerevan, where air is much better and nature is beautiful. If you visit Armenia, don't spend more than 20% of your time in Yerevan.

    Overpriced for What You Get

    Overpriced for What You Get Yerevan feels more like a village than a capital city, but the prices are close to what you’d expect in places like New York. The cost of food, accommodation, and daily expenses just doesn’t match the quality or experience you get in return. If you’re expecting fair value for your money, you might end up disappointed.

    The hotel really meets 4 stars level. There is secured place, nice breakfast, polite staff. Front office was flexible enough and brought worthwhile solutions. The hotel’s location is its best sides. It is directly in a few meters from the main square and the main walking street of Yerevan and surrounded by lots of groceries, restaurants and a other shopping points. Also we were happy that in around 1 km meters there are a lot of ancient armenien apostolic Cherches, which are the best places to descover armenian chistory and kulture.

    The location is superb, you can walk to the city center in minutes. Moreover, really loved the internal terrace, it was really cosy and beautiful. Reception was friendly and helpful, moreover, behind the hotel a cat mom with her 3 kittens is living. I'm really hoping they are being taken care of, as the ability to watch those little kittens play was really amusing and heart warming (loved that there was no aggression against the animals that I'm used to in Armenia).

    First of all, I would like to thank all of the staffs of paris hotel. My personal review: Great Location- near republic square, restaurants and parks, clean and comfortable room, courteous staffs. My husband had his birthday celebrated in yerevan and the staffs gave him a birthday cake!!! we appreciate this personal touch ❤️ i definitely recommend this hotel and if given the chance to come back to yerevan, I’ll stay here again ❤️❤️❤️
