Hotel in Microcentro, Buenos Aires
Located in the historic district of Buenos Aires, the five-star NH City Buenos Aires hotel features an impressive art-deco façade and striking interiors. Great location. 30 minutes to any airports on taxi almost at any time of the day. Three underground lines station in just 100 meters. Nice walking at any direction and you will get site seeing. The breakfast is tasty, but it is served in full after 8 am. Before that you get less variety of food. The room was not too large, but there was a spacious wardrobe. The ventilation was almost quiet during the night. There is a clock bell-tower nearby at the Plaza Mayo and you can hear the bell ringing sometimes, but not loud.

Buenos Aires is an incredibly beautiful city. The combination of old French architecture with new sky rises makes it clear why they call it the little Paris of South America. Each burrough has its own identity and personality. If you like the bustling nightlife you stick to micro centro, if you want a unique bar crawl go to Palermo, if you want to observe the Cities rich history go to Recoleta. It's one of the most walkable cities Ihave ever visited with some unique building, art, or monument around every corner. The weather always 70 and sunny. perfect for strolling around the city!
Buenos Aires is a large bustling city. It feels similar to a European city but there are lots of new experiences here. The many parks offer exotic plants and birds and if you venture beyond the city there are lots of exciting options to experience. I visited Iguacu waterfall, amazing and under 2 hours away. Also a day trip to Uruguay, only 1 hour. There is also much culture and art within the city, theatres, museums and unique locations like the Caminito. There is a great choice in food options here. Transport is good also. Top tip bring sensible walking shoes, trainers, pavements are often broken! If you venture beyond the city centre there are mosquitos bring Deet. Outside the hotels few speak English so have Google translate on hand.
We stayed twice in Buenos Aires on the way to and from Patagonia. For the outbound part of the trip we stayed in Palermo. This is a charming neighbourhood with a hip feel. Great vegan and other restaurants. It was great for walking around and getting an initial feel for the city and was safe at night too. Good to the eco park, Eva peron musuem and all the sights in the northern part of the city. After returning from Patagonia we stayed two nights in central Buenos Aires. A totallly different vibe. Very hustly by day, and quite gritty at night off the main streets. But great for walking all the central sights like Avenida mayo and Corrientes and the monuments.
I will never come back for sure. Hi, Selina charged me 392,62$ when my booking was for 301,70$. Ther service provided by Selina/Booking was truly not acceptable and I want a refund of this difference. Poor service and for sure I will never return to one Selina's hotels.
To my perception, the most Western city in South America. Large boulvards, many parks, art, culture, food, drink, ... Palermo remains my favorite neighborhood. You can find a lot of nice stores, restaurants to every budget/taste and a nice stroll in the small, colorful streets. Of course you also have to go to Recoleta, Puerto Madero and much more and I visited a lot by foot. In every street you will find a majestic building and/or a beautiful grafiti. Of course, you have to be a bit careful and so don't behave too flashy but I haven't felt unsafe during my many walks there. More and more places are renting bikes and for supreme convenience you can also install Cabify (officially approved counterpart ofUber). The people there have a lot of problems with inflation but that makes it very interesting for the tourist (with our Dollars or Euros) to enjoy a big city cheaply. As in the good old days, bring currency to change there. Just ask locally (e.g. at the hotel) about the best way to do that. Paying in cash is much cheaper than using a card and withdrawing money is also terribly expensive.
Buenos Aires is a fantastic city. This is my second time spending several months here and I am already excited to return a third time. There is so much to do, so much to see and so much to eat!! The restaurant scene here is fantastic, especially in Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. If you are a foodie, you will be in heaven. In the last few years, the vegan/plant-based scene has really exploded so if you don't eat meat, you will not have a problem. If you are a meat lover, Argentine beef is some of the best in the world! Great shopping and leather goods are also a big draw to this amazing city. This city truly has so much character, with the gorgeous architecture and perfectly-landscaped green spaces all throughout. This city truly has something for everyone!
Palermo, Buenos Aires
This is the second time I stayed with Gaby. She's such a lovely host! The double room upstairs is small, but comfortable with fan and aircon. Slept with the window open both times and let the muffled & quiet Palermo sounds be my lullaby. The bath is beautiful and spacious & the kitchen extremely well equipped. The cherry on the cake is the roof terrace! It's the ideal spot to chill after a day of exploring Buenos Aires and before hitting one of the many cute restaurants and bars that are right on your doorstep.
The hotel does not offer breakfast, however there is a coffee machine and biscuits with free access 24/7. There are a few bakeries around the corner with lovely “media lunas” (croissant) and good coffee. The location of the hotel was great, close to the restaurants and parks we wanted to visit. The hotel is at a walkable distance from the famous Recoleta Cemetery and the “Plaza Naciones Unidas” where the “floralis Genérica” is situated. We had a good time
This is a lovely small boutique hotel with interesting and fun objects in the lobby. Our room was large and airy as was the bathroom. Exceptionally clean. I loved this area of Buenos Aires. San Telmo has some really terrific restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty typical for Argentina and fresh and plentiful. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.
Palermo, Buenos Aires
Quiet location but within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants (Plaza Serrano). Owner is very accommodating in offering assistance and suggestions for Buenos Aires. Also very flexible in terms of early arrival and late departure when possible, which during our stay it was. Would definitely recommend as a base to explore Buenos Aires and the area of Palermo, but also on route for tour bus for wider excursions across the city.
The staff is extremely kind and reliable. The team was always available to answer our questions or greet us. It was really much appreciated. Also, the room was very comfortable. Special kudos for the breakfast, it was delicious (best medialunas ever) and the service was great! The location is also perfect, you are literally in the heart of Palermo, so you have everything you need walking distance.
It's very well placed, close to the night life of Barrio Palermo, also right next to the train station - useful if you have to catch a flight from Palomar Airport. The check-in is hassle-free. The price is the main upside of the hotel, it might be difficult to find something cheaper! Overall good for a short one-night stay, wouldn't recommend it for longer.
We loved the big rooms, the swimming pool on the rooftop and the breakfast. The staff is amazing! Especially Juan, who has helped us with so many things. His service level is higher than most 4 or 5 star hotels! He is a very good representative for the hotel.
Tango de Mayo is a very chic boutique hotel in the hart of Buenos Aires. The rooms are very good, beds are awesome and bathrooms very clean. Everything seems to be brand new! Breakfast is ok. Best medialunas in town! No fresh orange juice though ! :( .
The two male staff at reception were always kind, attentive, and ready to help. I forgot to ask their names but they provided great service. Hotel is located right in front of the recoleta cemetery and walking distance to pretty much anything.
Great location in Palermo, with friendly staff and a nice boutique feel. An airport transfer to the hotel was organised efficiently, and we were even given breakfast outside of the set times. The included breakfast was delicious.
Spotless clean, with attentive and flexible service. Breakfast in wonderful location, great variety of food and drinks. Gym sufficient if you want some workout. Very well positioned in Recoleta, walking distance from Palermo.
Amazing location in the heart of Palermo with many great food and drink options on the doorstep. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Felt like a home away from home.
Beautiful hotel with the most helpful staff, located in walking distance to great restaurants and bars in Palermo. Nice common areas, sauna and massage service. Would definitely come back!
Palermo, Buenos Aires
The hotel is located in one of the best neighborhoods of buenos aires. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The Host was very nice with us and we had a good communication
Position is in the very downtown of Buenos Aires. Room is very clean, wide and quiet. Very kind staff. Breakfast better that in similar Argentina hotels.
The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The location was ideal for work. Hotel is very close to 5 star restaurants.
Great location in Palermo . Nice small boutique hotel . Good breakfast .
Modern facility. Well-maintained. Comfortable. Breakfast included.
Pocket-sized pool on the roof, with deep rich grass around - perfect for relaxation in between bouts of exploration. Fantastic location. Super friendly & helpful staff
