We had 3 nights in Buenos Aires on our way to Santiago and it was fantastic, the hotel was amazing, the views of the city, especially at night were fantastic, such a vibrant, lively city. Lots of bars and restaurants everywhere, the docs area was fantastic also! If you’re going to go, then you MUST do a day trip to Uruguay on the ferry and a hop on / hop off bus tour of Santiago city, making sure you get off in La Boca!! We made a stop for a few days in Buenos Aires on our way to Bariloche for a ski trip. We got a two day hop on Hop off bus with Greyline that was to include a cruise on a boat. Unfortunately because of timing issues the boat trip did not happen. Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city that reminds me a lot of Paris, although I would say Buenos Aires is cleaner. There are many unique neighborhoods, each with their own history and uniqueness. The main Avenue with the Obelisk is beautiful and imposing all at the same time. I have traveled the world but this was my first time to Buenos Aires. It is definitely a city to see but not one that I plan to revisit.Guest review byJeffUnited States
