Hotel in Corrientes
Featuring a garden with a swimming pool, and a fitness center, Corrientes Plaza Hotel offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi in central Corrientes. Breakfast is included. The staff didn't seem to have time for any customer service, they worked in a purely functional manner. The breakfast was as if presented by a child, pre packed sugary biscuits or cakes that tasted stale, served with tiny plastic utensils, bowls and cups.

We only stayed one night and a day (30 hours) in transit between Posadas and Salta. The city has some nice foreshore and beaches, but little to see with respect to architecture. The city's shops, bars and restaurants almost all shut down in the afternoon (until 5pm or later), which left us wandering lonely streets on a hot day. Ibera wetland (in the province) is good, but we had visited that from Posadas. On reflection we should have have simply pushed on through
Beautiful city with excellent views and lovely beaches. If you are visiting Argentina you wouldn’t instantly think of Corrientes but it is a great place to visit and not too touristy which makes it even better!
Very disappointing. River front was quite pleasant but views were uninspiring. A 2-cafe town according to TripAdvisor and they weren’t wrong! The only 2 museums, one was shut the other didn’t exist! Saw all I wanted to in half day. Give it a miss.
Corrientes in summertime can be very hot and humid. Make sure to bring sunscreen and repellent. They have certain areas where is safe to get into the river and have a good time on the little beach. The riverside walking area is really nice. They also have awesome restaurants by the river with a amazing menu. They have a shopping mall which has a movie theater inside, a food court and a bowling area plus arcade games around it. Right across the river there is a place called Resistencia, they also have a really great shopping mall, which I consider way better than the one in Corrientes
Corrientes is a beautiful city on the banks of the Parana River. It seems a wealthy area with high end shopping and pretty houses and tree lined streets. Closet de Angeles opposite Don Suites had great clothes at reasonable prices. The river area is wonderful with fantastic restaurants and markets.
While there is nothing to really dislike about the city, there is nothing to really like either. There are no tourist attractions close at hand and those passing through seem to use this city as a resting point between other points of interest. I know this was true in my case. Going from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Waterfalls, (or in reverse order), one could travel over a day on a bus, or go about half way, rest, and finish the trip.

A very good boutique hotel with excellent interior design. In every corner you spot some great details. The receptionist spoke very good English.

Perfect location for us, hotel staff were patient and very accommodating as we didn't speak a lot of Spanish.
It’s not my first stay on Corrientes plaza. This was definitely the last one. Staff is great
