We only stayed one night and a day (30 hours) in transit between Posadas and Salta. The city has some nice foreshore and beaches, but little to see with respect to architecture. The city's shops, bars and restaurants almost all shut down in the afternoon (until 5pm or later), which left us wandering lonely streets on a hot day. Ibera wetland (in the province) is good, but we had visited that from Posadas. On reflection we should have have simply pushed on through
Great hotel level facilities in a private room with fridge, kettle and complimentary coffee/tea, and a warm shower with all toiletries provided. Really friendly/helpful staff too. I checked in early and left my bag there after check-out while I explored more of the city.
