Located in Junín de los Andes, 0.9 mi from Via Christi and 1 mi from Artisan's fair, Casa Junin de los Andes provides accommodations with amenities such as free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. The location near town, the river, and a local restaurant, although we only infrequently went out to dinner.
Apart Dry Fly is located in Junín de los Andes and offers self-catering accommodations. Free WiFi access is available. The breakfast was good, customized for us and brought to us in the evening so we could leave for fishing early. The central location was good for eating and shopping but noisy due to the festival time of year and kids out of school. Staff were excellent.
Getting around Junin de los Andes is easy, but you really need a car. Generally, little English is spoken by most people in town, but they try to understand your Spanish. Patricia and Fabian worked hard to make us happy. Their children are fluent in English. Most of our friends lived within two blocks of us. The Tourist Board staff works very hard and has a wealth of info about Junin and the rest of the province. Leonel is there during most week day mornings and is fluent in English.
Best thing about it is access to the nearby national park, with araucaria forest, a volcano, hiking trails, lakes. We were there on a market day, which was interesting to see; lots of equestrian and gaucho gear.
