We loved this town. It was quaint, friendly, and beautiful. There were great restaurants, everything in town was walkable, and there were lots of outdoorsy things to do with kids (rent bikes, rent a kayak, go for a hike, go for a boat ride). Absolutely beautiful place.
Absolutely beautiful place. Wonderful restaurants and full of boutique hotels. The natural landscapes and lakes in this area of the country are breath-taking. I could easily live here =) But settled for a wonderful vacation, full of nature, good food and incredibly kind people. It has a great story how the valley was created many years ago after a glacier carved the mountains and melted after the ice age. Bicycles can be safely stored inside the property and motorbikes in the rear garden. The home is spotlessly clean situated in a quiet part of town. Lovely twin rooms with shared bathroom and use of kitchen, make this an excellent alternative to the more expensive accommodation in nearby San Martin de Los Andes.
