There were great restaurants, everything in town was walkable, and there were lots of outdoorsy things to do with kids (rent bikes, rent a kayak, go for a hike, go for a boat ride). Absolutely beautiful place. Wonderful restaurants and full of boutique hotels. The natural landscapes and lakes in this area of the country are breath-taking. I could easily live here =) But settled for a wonderful vacation, full of nature, good food and incredibly kind people. It has a great story how the valley was created many years ago after a glacier carved the mountains and melted after the ice age.
