The hotel is situated beautifully on the boards of the Donau. The view from our room was exceptional. The room was spacious although perhaps a bit old-fashioned. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant, which is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was fine with sufficient choice.

Everything! I stopped in town at the Spar and picked up food for dinner and breakfast. Had researched directions on how to get to Haizing on my bicycle. Found the house and let myself in. It is about 2.5 miles from the town of Aschach and the Danube, so you are away from the traffic. Farm nearby, could hear the cows mooing. It was GREAT. Did not realize Katrina and her boyfriend Rhiner, actually live on the second floor, they came home while I was working on the Internet. Great people, very helpful. This was a magnificent experience for me. One of the two places I have stayed on this month long trip with screens on the windows. Great value.

Beautiful views (we had a river view balcony) comfortable room, really good cakes and the dinner tastes much better than the menu-card reads! Great buffet breakfast.The family running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful.

The town was ok, nothing special and the gelato was a euro...
The town was ok, nothing special and the gelato was a euro higher than any town along the Donau that we've cycled through. The cycle shop was not overly friendly. I did have a good dry red wine at the recommended pizza shop.

We were cycling the Danube and had to take a lengthy detour because of a rock fall.Our first choice of hotel was ‘closed’ despite people coming and going from it and even though I phoned the proprietor. Some people leaving the hotel could see our predicament and suggested Pension La Mamma who couldn’t have been more helpful
