Au is very well-developed for tourism.
Au is very well-developed for tourism. With the Bregenzerwald Guest Card, buses and trains can be used free of charge. Buses run hourly. There are many restaurants. The prices are reasonable. We particularly liked the Hotel Tannahof in Au and the Restaurant Wisawi in Bezau. Both serve fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious food.

A very nice hotel with a great spa for enthusiasts! Having stayed there in 2019, I was a little disappointed by the meals and the somewhat excessive price for the services offered in general! In winter, it's perfect for skiing... the resorts are close to the hotel.

The apartment is brand new, and all rooms are tastefully furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. It's in a very quiet yet central location. There's good bus service, and the shops in town are within walking distance.

Spacious and very comfortable appartment in glorious location. Set in the quiet village between farms and homes. Mountain views all around easily accessed by ski lifts with good free car parking. Close to local restaurants which were excellent.
Kitchen facilities good. Loved the decking in the evenings watching the Alpenrose. Managed to keep inside cool using shutters and windows. The night sky was amazing.

Everything was better than any expectation! The staff were amazing and super helpful. All facilities were top-notch!
As for the food… I never expected such high quality and amazing variety as was offered!
There are plenty of hiking options around, from easy-peasy to challenging mountain hikes!
I will definitely be back!!! Loved everything about the hotel and location!

The Hotel is ideally situated on an Alm, where the location is absolutely breathtaking. You are entirely surrounded by pristine, untouched nature. If you delight in being enveloped by serene natural beauty, you will undoubtedly savor this place as much as we did.
