United StatesIt was all so beautiful from the room, the view, the pool and the village. Excellent breakfast. Quite the spread I must say. Very helpful staff. I even got picked up and taken back to the train station. The spa treatments were heavenly as were the pool and the saunas. Definitely another highlight of my 15 days traveling around Europe.

Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. Bad Aussee is great location. Surrounded by the mountains. We made lots of nice trips to the great tourist attractions ( lakes, sightseeing points) .
