The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

It was all so beautiful from the room, the view, the pool and the village. Excellent breakfast. Quite the spread I must say. Very helpful staff. I even got picked up and taken back to the train station. The spa treatments were heavenly as were the pool and the saunas. Definitely another highlight of my 15 days traveling around Europe.

Very lovely unique property. Set right on the lake. Each buggy had a history of its own explained by our host, Lea. Great outdoor spaces for gathering. The family was very inviting and kind and always available for anything we needed. Lea even called a local restaurant and made dinner reservations for us! Highly recommend!!!!

Both the breakfast and dinners were outstanding. I was highly satisfied with selection of fruits, breads, eggs dishes, fresh vegetables, juices, etc. Likewise with dinners. The staff was friendly, always trying to please us.
