Skiing village, not historically developed. Suitable for crossing the Alps at the end of a stage. Not necessarily for a longer stay in summer. A free bus runs from Hochfügen to Fügen in the Zillertal valley. I think that's very good.

The staff is exceptional. Every care to remember our needs was evident while we enjoyed half board service. Additionally, there always a “snack hour” included for hotel guests from 1500-1630 with hot foods, soups, and dessert. The pool was warm and the spa area small but well appointed with steam, sauna, water beds, and lounge area. Our last morning was the day before Easter and our breakfast table delighted the kids as it was decorated with chocolate bunnies and candies! Could not recommend this more!

We had a perfect stay In Hotel Lamark, we stopped during a multi day hike and it was a great recovery day. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the spa was great with a swimming pool and jacuzzi and saunas. Food was also great, especially breakfast. We strongly recommend.

Location of the hotel is right next to several ski lifts, blue and red options. If you walk a few meters, you have to the lift to go to the other ski areas.
