Kappl is a small village before the bigger and renown village of Ischgl. It is mainly a destination for the winter tourism, endless ski slopes to choose from, breathtaking views of the surroundings. But it has a lot to offer even in summer: many cable cars are active and bring you on top op the mountains where you can start your hike or enjoy the view, they also have an "erlebnispark" (experience park) for kids where they can play, climb on trees, go fishing, jump on the trampoline, etc...`the church of Kappl is also very interesting and rich, there is a very active tourist info point, medical assistance and the village offers several restaurants and cafes.

Kappl is a great place to stay, whether you plan to ski in Kappl or Ischgl. Free ski buses run regularly, though they can get quite crowded during the morning rush. Kappl offers fantastic opportunities for young beginners. Our children learned to ski there. We still enjoy coming back, but we now prefer to ski in Ischgl.

We stayed in Kappl-Brandau, and it was our base for skiing in Ischgl. The location was excellent, and all the necessary amenities were available in Kappl-Dorpf and the surrounding area. Everything was easily accessible.

A wonderful location right on the ski slope.
A wonderful location right on the ski slope. Few people on the slopes. There are three reasonably priced pubs in town. Good pizza at Polish prices. Of course, Ischgl has more options, but if 45 km is enough for you, three days is optimal. We paid 1600 PLN for three days, including breakfast.

Kappl has a very nice town center.
Kappl has a very nice town center. We stayed on the mountain, a short drive uphill. From there, you can take a lovely walk to one of Kappl's slopes and enjoy a delicious meal at the Huisleralm mountain hut.

Kappl is a small town, but it has everything you need.
Kappl is a small town, but it has everything you need. The ski area is manageable and suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Very child-friendly. Easily accessible by gondola. Free ski bus. Also recommended for hikers. There are other activities available, such as tobogganing, llama trekking, and more.

Really good breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Views from the porch of the The hosts make sure you are comfortable and happy with the service. The place is close to the ski run and even in spring with limited snow it was possible to get to the piste in 5 minutes. The run from the property down to the Kappl Bergbahn is conveniently located to access the bus to Ischgl.

Very close to the ski bus and ski rental shop. Easy access to the Kappl ski field as well. Delightful hosts who were very helpful, they even went to great lengths to help us get some items posted to the house. We could order bread to be delivered in the morning every day. We are very grateful to them for our fabulous stay - thank you!

Matresses are very comfterable.
If you ski in kappl there is a ahort pass 20 metter walk and you are on the ski course
