Beautiful surroundings and the possibility of a number of attractive trips (but we must say that we are 76 and 72 years old, so we are already avoiding "chamois trails", although we do not mind the moderate elevation yet). Transportation to many nearby places is possible by bus or by your own car.

A very nice location if you want to enjoy peace and quiet.
A very nice location if you want to enjoy peace and quiet. Plenty of hiking trails right on the doorstep, the chairlift operates even in summer, there's a 3D archery course, etc. The downside is that only one restaurant is open, the supermarket is closed, and the place is quite deserted. It might be different in winter when the ski lifts remain open. This has been promised for the 2025/26 season.

Excellent resort for families and undemanding skiers. I recommend buying ski passes a month in advance and paying an additional 5 euros for insurance per ski pass. The price of a ski pass in advance is 31.9, a week in advance is 46.9 and on site is 56 euros (price per adult). Parking is included in the price of the ski pass. Refreshments on the slope are sufficient.

The environment is wonderful. The people are very friendly. I would love to visit here in winter too. We just happened to be at a local firefighter's ball. Sramlizene, delicious food, good beers. It was an unforgettable experience. There are many attractions in the area. Máriazell is close by.

The environment as well as the appartement is fascinating. Lackenhof is a piece of treasure during summer. If you like hiking, love nature, you just cannot pick a better place. The options where to go or what to do are endless. It is a must-visit. The owner is a local guy (fluent also in English), who literally knows everything. Beyond the lovely appartement we got excellent insights and tips about destinations, restaurant, hiding treasures. Thank you, once again!

All! The best owner, the best accommodation! Wonderful apartment, comfortable, clean, spacious, the kitchen is also equipped with everything. I really liked the division of the rooms. If we visit Lackenhof, we will definitely come back here, we spent pleasant days here. The lift is within walking distance (although it is a little more difficult in ski boots than in snowboard boots).

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. We loved the location, the property is located in quiet area at the end of the village. Cross country skiing trails are just in the front of the house and Lackenhof ski resort can be reached by car in couple of minutes.

The waiters were very nice. The buffet dinner was delicious and plentiful. The hotel is in a nice location. The room was large, actually an apartment, equipped with a small kitchen counter and refrigerator. There is also a large sauna area upstairs.
