The room has a beautiful mountain view and is close to a cable car and a ski slope. and It's a few kilometers away from Dachstein Mountain, which has a suspension bridge and a platform with a beautiful view. The room's furniture is new and very clean, with comfortable beds. There's a small kitchen and a new bathroom that's cleaned daily. Everything is perfect. We were surprised by the warm welcome from the family, who went out of their way to help us with a kind spirit. We didn't feel like strangers, and their hospitality brought us joy and comfort. We're very grateful to them." They made our stay un forgettable .

One of the most beautiful places on this planet.
One of the most beautiful places on this planet. Easy to get around with the Ramsau am Dachstein Summercard and the bus and gondola systems.
Loved the gondola to the top and the Sky walk, the Stairway to Heaven and the Stairway to Nothingness.
Also liked Rittisberg and its attractions such as the Flyline, toboggan and High Ropes. The Go Karting down 7 kms of the Planai mountain was also fun

Great place for cross-country skiing, walking around, enjyoing fresh air and views of the Ski amade reagion incl. magnificent Dachstein. A few places to eat, but worth it - DAS Rittis, Red Angus, Waldschenke and most probably suggested Peter Rosseger restaurant (not visited).

Beautiful small town in a very scenic area. Several good restaurants and an excellent vegetarian cafe. Awesome hiking and skiing, both alpine and cross country. Close to Schladming for anything else you might need.

Ramsau is amazing, beautiful scenery, many restaurants and attractions, especially for kids. The local Erlebnisbad (aquacenter) is amazing, nearby Rittisberg is absolutely wonderful for kids. Many lifts closeby within a short driving distance, the Dachstein main lift basically right in Ramsau.

Very good location with plenty of choices if you like hiking...
Very good location with plenty of choices if you like hiking, ferrata (klettersteig in Germain), running, or skiing. I stayed here with 10year old daughter and we could find lots of activities together and she liked it as I did.

we went to this area because we want to visit the Dachstein Glacier!
if u want to visit it u need to book your Gondola seat (ascent and descent) at this website https://www.derdachstein.at
for an extra it is possible to visit also the ice palace! it is very interesting! inside u can find many ice sculptures!
but pay attention because if u want to visit it u need to cross the suspended bridge! and if you suffer from vertigo ... but it is a unique experience!!!

Extremely well-run, clean, quiet, warm and comfortable hotel. Excellent food, clean and comfortable rooms, well-equipped bathrooms, attentive and helpful owners of the hotel: they are always around and make themselves available for questions or a snack (including free, homemade Christmas cookies)! I look forward to returning to this wonderful hotel: a true secret tip (Geheimtipp)! Thanks for the lovely few days in beautiful Ramsau!

Everything. The hotel is located on the plateau in the Ramsau area, in an extremely picturesque area. The room I stayed in had an extraordinary view of the mountain range. Heinz, the owner, is a person very attentive to details and a special person ready to help you with anything you need. It is a pleasure to have him as company. Thank you very much for the quality time spent.

Everything was perfect. I arrived late and the host waited for me. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was amazing. The building has a lot of character. A beautiful location. Can't wait to visit again and stay longer!
