Stegersbach is usually a paradise for spa visitors, and rightly so. A visit to the spa usually means a longer stay. This time, however, we didn't have time for an extended stay and found accommodation that met all our needs. Right in the town center, yet pleasantly quiet.

The room size was great.
The room size was great. The hotel was cozy but not fully catered for. There was no set menu or buffet dinner. No staff were at the hotel after 9 pm. Dinner had to be eaten at nearby restaurants. The thermal baths were very labyrinthine. There are much better thermal baths in the area, such as those in Tatzmannsdorf, Waltersdorf, and Andau.

The town of Stegersbach is a popular holiday destination for spa visitors. There are good restaurants both in the town itself and in the surrounding area. The Kastell Restaurant in Stegersbach is particularly recommended.

One of Falkensteiner's best destinations.
One of Falkensteiner's best destinations. The food is a true feast for the palate and the eyes. The spa area is spacious. The fitness facilities were also adequate. Walking trails are available for athletes and amateurs of various fitness levels.

Good location, staff beyond criticism. I would not recommend to others after they practically ruined our vacation. After repeated vacations in Austria (for over 20 years), without problems, this time we had the misfortune to encounter such managerial behavior (including xenophobic aspects) as is not allowed in a country in the European Union.

We booked this hotel but we didn't find it. The Google Map couldn't locate the exact address. If you are arriving there at night, please don't book this hotel. It is in the middle of somewhere that you couldn't find it.
