United StatesIdeal location right in the middle on Mondsee! Wonderful breakfast buffet and an excellent restaurant for lunch and dinner meals (note the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). Its a few minutes' walk to the Cathedral, the lake and lot of shops and restaurants. Easy parking on site. Family owned and operated. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to our needs.

The apartment was simply a dream.
The apartment was simply a dream. The house, the location, and the amenities were just fantastic. Everything you need for a few wonderful days was there... we would have loved to stay longer. But we will definitely come back; the landlords were very friendly and accommodating.

From Thalgau, we are at the gateway to the Salzkammergut...
From Thalgau, we are at the gateway to the Salzkammergut region, where we can explore the lakes, mountains, and forests of the Austrian Alps, as well as visit Salzburg and immerse ourselves in its culture. Thalgau is a peaceful village that I enjoyed.
