Vienna is a must if you have ANY interest at all in classical music, art and art history and/or European history. It's one of the great capitals. Several neighborhoods also sport a hipster vibe, such as Neubau, which is where the Max Brown Hotel is located. Superb public transit! Highly recommend a transit card (1-7 days). Excellent food. English widely spoken. More to do and see than we could manage in 7 full days. If weather is good, highly recommend a day hike in the Vienna Woods, surrounding the city. Wide variety of cuisines available and most cafes/restaurants have vegetarian offerings. Except for one Chinese meal, we stuck with traditional Viennese dishes. Consistently best coffee we've ever had!!

City has fantastic public transport! City is clean and safe.
City has fantastic public transport! City is clean and safe. First timers to city can orient themselves soon. The churches, historical spots are connected very well. There are several places to eat and drink. Please do check if you are on budget as the the prices are expensive. Stay in Air BnBs if possible close to city as it saves on stay cost.

It's a beautiful city, the architecture and the history is incredible. Very easy to walk everywhere. We loved all the small traditional restaurants and roof-top bars. We were just a bit surprised that there were no many amenities out of the city center, not many coffee shops and restaurants in the residential areas ( we walked around quite a bit)
