Hotel location is great. Only five stations away from Vienna Central Station. Two stations away from Stephanplatz which is the centre of all attractions in Vienna. There is a metro station five minute walk from the hotel. There are at least two grocery stores close by as well as restaurants. Hotel is very clean. Room is small but very functional. Bed comfy. Bathroom is nice size but shower is small but water pressure is very good to have a nice hot shower. Room also has tv, coffee/tea maker, desk as well as closet. Breakfast is also good to start your day with hot food, cheeses, cereals, bread and pastries/cakes. Hot coffee/tea, cappuccino machine and juices are also available. I will definitely book Hotel Wien whenever I go back to Vienna. Highly recommended. One last thing...I was given a small box of Heindl chocolate upon check in. Thank you so much Hotel Wien. I had enjoyed my stay (Oct 23 - 27) and can't wait to go back.

Transit was a challenge this trip- Google never gave directions via trams, and the subways to our area werent running.

Great imperial city, historical sites, museums.
Great imperial city, historical sites, museums. Everything you want to see, every corner accessible by public transport in short time and no trouble. Still, it is best to walk or cycle if you can, so you won't miss the great architecture and richness of the former empire.

Vienna is beautiful. Great time to visit with Christmas markets and lights decorating the city. Lots to see and great places to eat. Went to Jade for breakfast - great place with huge choice and friendly helpful staff.

Vienna is a magnificent city, for lovers of art, architecture, museums and history. The only thing I complain about is that I visited Vienna exactly during the period when the Christmas markets were being prepared, meaning many places that could be visited were closed for the construction of the Christmas market.

I visited Vienna for a week on the early Spring of 2024 and stayed at the Hotel Stefanie.
Hotel Stefanie is the oldest hotel in Vienna and it does live up to the name. The hotel has a charming 19th Century atmosphere without sacrificing modern amenities. Rooms are super-clean and staff is very helpful and polite. The location is exceptional for anyone visiting the city centre.
Hotel Stefanie is not the most luxurious or biggest hotel in Vienna but it is great value for the price. I would not hesitate staying at this hotel again.
Absolutely amazing, everything, really!! The staff was very helpful and kind, room was BEAUTIFUL, bed super comfortable, location was good as well - not that far from city centre and just few minutes walking to the train station. If we come back to Vienna, I will not be searching any other hotel, this was number 1 and for sure we come back. Thank you for everything, wish to spend more time there 🙏
The staff was very polite and there was someone at the reception 24/7 ready to help. Although the hotel isn't inside the historical centre of Vienna, the location was great since there was a tram station and a metro station nearby and it took only 15min to get to the city centre. The room was super clean. Don't miss out on breakfast!
A very nice receptionist Lady explained not clear rules on parking fees in Vienna. Apart from that, the hotel provides its own parking space for additional fees. Very good breakfest. Nice location in a walking distance to the city centre, that is also easily approachable by bus.
