pleasure to walk out for dinner but tucked away from the town noise. The lift and bus stop are also a minute away. The summer card is a big plus. The rooms
are cosy, clean, every detail is well thought of and comfortable. The breakfast is lovely, nutritious and delicious! The chef remembered our choice and made sure we got the kind of omelette we liked. Elena came to welcome us in our own language the first day and was kind company every morning. Lilly was gentle and delicate and quietly made sure to remember our coffee choices and made sure we didn’t have to ask. By the fifth day we noticed the lively and homey atmosphere spread even between the guests. In the evening the pool was wonderful for me and the sauna really hot, I appreciated it after a long day on the mountains. And finally, our hosts Elisabeth and Stefan - so welcoming, efficient and kind!! My communication with Elisabeth was like I was connected to the lamp gene from the Aladdin fairy tale! The moment I touched the chat screen with a question or a request Elisabeth would magically appear like a gene and sort it for me! I don’t think i have seen anyone so easygoing, open and hardworking at the same time! I can imagine why many of their staff had been with them for 15+ years and why guests love them. So many things made us feel warm and relaxed, at home! Thank you!

CroatiaWe had an issue with our motorbike and needed help communicating in German with the key service, as we couldn’t unlock the disc lock. The staff was extremely helpful and showed great determination in assisting us. They didn’t give up even after several attempts and made sure we were taken care of.
I would especially like to give credit to the girls at the reception, whose kindness and persistence made a stressful situation much easier. Because of this experience, we will definitely be coming back in the future.

North MacedoniaI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Traube in Zell am See, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home.
The location is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the lake and mountains that can be enjoyed from the comfort of our room. The accommodations were cozy, modern, and impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring.
The hotel's amenities are top-notch. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a delicious variety of fresh local produce, pastries, and hearty options to fuel our adventures.
Zell am See itself is a gem, with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy year-round. Whether hiking, skiing, or simply strolling around the charming town, there’s something for everyone.
Overall, Hotel Traube exceeded our expectations and made our stay in Zell am See truly memorable. I can't wait to return!

Great location and view of the lake, but wished we had booked a room with a balcony and view. Room and facilities were very clean. A bit impersonal as there was no staff in the evening but overall great stay.

An excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery.
An excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery. Loads to see and do. Lovely food. Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

A lot to do for families ( hiking, cycling, rafting, bathing, swimming, sightseeing,visiting museums ).
The food and drinks in restaurants are expensive, so it’s better to have food included in the hotel price or buy it in the store.

It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and...
It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, if you are into mountain biking, and the Grosser Donnerkogel, if you are into via ferratas. Being in Zell am See gave us the possibility to do multiple things withing a 1h driving radius.

Zell am See is rightly popular because it is uperbly located on the most beautiful lake, with mountain scenery that changes with the light throughout the day.
it is also makes an excellent centre for touring. special mention must be made of the Kaprun Glacier and the Kaprun Reservoir. Simply unmissable.

Views of the lake with the best mountain backgrounds are from the other end of the lake - the most northerly. We didn't do it, but it looks like a good place to hire bikes or electric bikes to see more of the lakeside.

-Every things are there in the flat (kitchen,washing machine)
-Clean flat with new furniture.

-They hold 300€ from the credit card as guaranteet, and they return it back next day.
If I visit Zell Am See again of course I will book this hotel apartments again.

The owners and everyone who worked at the Hotel Landhaus were super friendly and hospitable. We arrived early and were immediately welcomed with a cup of coffee. The room wasn’t ready yet but they gave us a room to get dressed and made sure our bags were in our room after we arrived from the apres ski.
Besides that was the food good, a nice Austrian breakfast. And a warm welcome every morning when you walked in. Would definitely recommend the hotel and go back.
