Adelaide is a pretty city, however, what can only be described as 'youth gangs' hanging all around the streets near Rundle Mall made it very unpleasant. Adelaide Oval and along the river up to the zoo are nice.

I thought the free tram was awesome, brilliant museum, art gallery and beautiful room in the State Library. The walkway along the Torrens River was lovely, if a little breezy at times. Lovely gardens and parks everywhere and a good hike up Mt Lofty close to city. Glenelg was worth a visit too. Loads of good places to eat. Hard to find a good coffee though - but I do come from the best coffee capital in the world - Wellington!

There is lots to do in the city from shopping to culture and eating to drinking. Plenty of one day trips to wine areas or the beach. An architectural magazine voted Adelaide as the most beautiful city so walking is the best thing to do although the trams and buses are great.

We really enjoyed the whole five days.
We really enjoyed the whole five days.
We visited the Adelaide zoo with our grandson & it was a beautiful sunny day for the time of year.
We shopped in Rundle Mall & generally had a lovely time catching up with family.
Another nice stay at the Pullman, which is my hotel of choice in Adelaide. Comfortable room and bed, with just enough room to spread out bags, do a bit of work on the computer and relax. Restaurant and bar staff were competent. Restaurant isn't cheap (not much in Australia is, these days) but food and drink was tasty and well prepared. The location is good for access to buses on Grenfell St, the Mall, the restaurants on Rundle St. About 10 mins to the free tram, the Art Gallery etc, and 15 mins to the Railway Station.
Hotel is very conveniently located and has most of the facilities one would expect of a hotel in Adelaide's CBD.
I like the easy of parking, as well as the ease of getting around the hotel - 3 lifts means you don't have to wait long to get to the area of the hotel you wish to go.
The room I stayed in was nice and clean and bathroom was surprisingly large.
Staff are friendly and polite and I like that room service is available.
It’s more like Airbnb in an apartment , which don’t have staff and use app to access the rooms. Very clean convenient neighbourhood. We drove from Melbourne to celebrate Christmas in Adelaide, the CBD is 10 minutes drive only. Would definitely Recommend it to my other friends who wanna stay there in the future. Very secure place to park our car inside a gate which was also for free. The bed is so big and comfy~ including a sofa bed.
We had a 2BR apartment which was spacious and clean and very quiet. There was a closed in balcony which provided additional noise reduction. Our view of the city streets were lovely. The location was great, within walking distance to all of Adelaide CBD, and literally around the corner from Adelaide Central Market. Close to parks & gardens. The hotel pool & spa had amazing views over the CBD.
The hotel's location is northwest of Adelaide CBD. Its close enough to the railway, casino and a few decent restaurants. A tram stop and bus stops are close by. George, who looks like the manager, is very helpful and knowledgeable. Kudos to the cleaning staff as well
