We loved Adelaide and Glenelg. We stayed for a week and saw and did a lot, but we could’ve stayed much longer and still not run out of things to do. Such a beautiful place with friendly people and gorgeous historical buildings everywhere. Day trips to Hahndorf and Barossa Valley were our favourite days out. We had a huge tasting platter and wine tasting ($55 for two - gave us enough food on the platter for our lunch), when we visited Kies Family Wines. We enjoyed meeting the winemaker, Joseph, at Ballycroft Wines / what a knowledgeable and interesting guy! Also liked Victor Harbour and Granite Island. The staff at the visitor centre at Victor Harbour was very helpful offering places to see whilst in town. We hired a car through East West car hire near the airport. Staff there were great. Very friendly and provided a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Very convenient. We were glad we hired the car as it gave us flexibility and was very fuel efficient - about $60 fuel for the whole week of driving around.

An attractive spot.
An attractive spot. We stayed near Holdfast Bay in Glenelg near Jetty Road. It has everything. Great places to eat, good variety of food for all budgets. No seagulls! Regular trams run along Jetty Rd as well as buses. Was there for an interstate Lacrosse tournament but found time to explore a little. Lots of character and history . Locals friendly and very multicultural. Took a drive to Semaphore which also had interesting architecture. Roads are easy to drive on. Loved Glenelg and would like to holiday there to see more of Adelaide. Terrific place to holiday for singles and families.

I loved the city I had not been there for 18 years, it has changed grown, but very very clean in all areas, traffic is amazing and i just found it a a good place. One aspect was there is no table service anywhere we went, it is order all at the counter, not a big deal must be an adelaide thing but overall a very beautiful, clean and nice city to visit.

We opted to stay outside of the city centre and commute in by car. Driving was slow, and even with a great online map, we found it hard to navigate.
We also could not find alot of information on best ways to travel around using cash/credit cards rather than the local travel cards.
We believe that Adelaide must be targeted to those who love their winery tours as we could not find alot else of interest to do, other than driving around the hills and coast for the scenery.

A good city for car travel with moderate traffic, good parking, easy access to each side of the city. Downtown good for walking with a good central mall. Art gallery and botanical gardens nearby. Climate fair to good.
The location is close to the city and we were traveling from NSW where the hotel is on the same road connecting to Adelaide CBD. The facilities for great with all needs were provisioned and the rooms and living hall was large. Also the the kitchen appliances were very clean. Parking though had to pay $10 per day it was worth having reserved parking. Electric charging spots are available for Electric cars which is a good option for those who drive such vehicles.
very conveniently located in cbd of Adelaide ( convenient for pick up for day tours or just short walk down street in front of Pullmans), friendly helpful staff, excellent varied healthy breakfast included & early enough to have before tours, clean safe comfortable & quiet + hotel waited until I got there to fulfil pay when u stay ( helpful when travel was so uncertain when I booked with pandemic, potential adverse weather & air travel difficulties ).
Great location, surrounded by resteraunts, chic bars, and boutiques and an easy walk into the CBD via Adelaide's beautiful gardens. Clean comfortable basic amenity hotel with very helpful pleasant staff..
The location of the apartments is good for an Adelaide visit and amazingly quiet considering being in the CBD. The bedroom was really big and the bed very comfortable. We slept really well!
Location of the hotel was good and bad.
Good as in proximity to CBD but Hindley Street is Adelaide’s King’s Cross! Intimidating to walk thru on way to hotel….especially at night!
