Located in Batemans Bay, an 8-minute walk from South Surfside Beach, Bayview Hotel - Batemans Bay has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. Basic accommodation as expected. But two shared toilets had no toilet paper for 12 hours despite two prompts. No advice when registering of availability and location of guest lounge facilities or wifi password.no directions or info in room or safety info. Everything had to be asked for. However beds were comfortable and clean. there were fans in room but heatwave made them pretty ineffectual. Security was a bit dubious with external doors to upstairs left open all night, although courtyard gates closed late at night.

Shopping and water views. There's a lot of devastation from the bushfires and that's a good reason to support the local businesses. Mogo Zoo is just south of Batemans Bay and is amazing and the Clyde River is lovely. The Soldiers Club has great views and restaurant,
My happy memories with family, great eateries, views and beaches. Starfish Deli, ice cream, clothing shops, relaxation and an in between stop over on the coast. Close to Mogo and all the other coastal towns.
This town has just about dropped of the map not very good for tourism the local council needs to pull there finger out the town is just about dead very disappointing shop closing. The only thing that was good the Soldiers Club for dinner
Batemans Bay is a great holiday destination for all ages. It is easy to get around with plenty of accommodation types to suit all budgets. The hardest decision will be where to base yourself!! I love the Batehaven area which has some fantastic caravan parks, apartments and units. Batehaven has a great little shopping centre that will meet most needs whether for a short or long term stay. However for those seeking some serious retail therapy you will have to head into Batemans Bay for that. One cannot go to Batemans Bay without exploring Mogo. I guarantee a visit here will set you back a full day and perhaps another visit before you head home. There is a fantastic village with lots of interesting and quirky retail shops. A stop at the Fudge shop is a must! There are some great cafes to sit and recharge. Mogo Zoo is an absolute must....Those Meercats are way too cute and cheeky. It's a great day out for young and old alike who are able to get up close and personal during selected animal feeding times. Back in Batemans Bay there is a range of activities to fill in some hours including the fun and challenging mini golf course, cinema, river cruises to Nelligan and boat hire, to name a few. At the end of the day treat yourself/the family to the "Ice-creamery" shop...there's a flavour to suit every taste bud and it will be hard to choose a favourite!! Overall Batemans Bay is a great holiday destination to do as much or as little as you want but do explore the best of what nature has to offer with beautiful beaches and National Parks in the area.
We stayed at the Kon Tiki Apartments, which were just across the road from the beach and grassy park area. The accommodations were wonderful, Audry, the owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful. While there we took a 4-hour boat trip up the river and back that included a fish and chips lunch. The cruise was very pleasant, the meal was delicious, and the captain was very knowledgeable of the history of the surrounding area. We also ate at an excellent Thai restaurant just a block south of the Kon Tiki.
Great fun seaside village/town with all the amenities. Some high end restaurants and of course good old fish and chips at a charming ‘shack’ on the esplanade, where you can dine on their outside deck whilst watching the boats, stingrays and local resident pelicans. Very near to some spectacular beaches, either surf or calmer family beaches. Fishing, swimming, ice cream, fish and chips, botanical gardens, zoo and mini golf. A good base for day trips to the surrounding lovely villages of Nelligan ,the markets in Moruya, the arty strip of Mogo and further afield Narooma,Bergamui and Bega. All the ingredients for a good old fashioned family holiday but great for friends or couples too. In peak season it would be pretty full and buzzy so might not suit some however there are plenty of beaches nearby if you are looking for a quite getaway. Highly recommended.
Great location and really spacious room (actually, the biggest I have ever seen in a motel). Also, water views from the room (I had breakfast while looking at water) were absolutely amazing. Strongly recommended for anyone who wants to stay for a few days around Batemans Bay with good parking and walking distance to the centre.
The apartment was exactly as it was described. Heaps of room. On arrival place was nice and clean. A lot of things to do in the apartment if you have kids with you. Eg Playstation 4 & games, board games. Will definitely staying in this apartment again when in Batemans Bay.
We are a family of five and the family room was a nice fit. We were only there one quick night, but were happy with the room, the onsite steak house, close walk to a cafe, bakery and a super market. My kids loved the the brand new playground across the street.
The location was really convenient for the purpose of my journey to Batemans Bay. The WIFI reception, which I needed, was great and reliable. The accomodation was always clean and towels refreshed every day and bedlinen. Staff helpful and obliging.
Spotless and modern room, comfortable bed. Some good restaurants and the city center are within walking distance. Staff were friendly and assisted whenever needed. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Beautiful view and great food at the hotel. This was a good place to stay, however a lot of stairs to get suit cases up and the bed had springs coming through the mattress. Most uncomfortable.
The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and quite spacious. The motel is in walking distance to the facilities of Batemans Bay.
Nice clean villas, close to Sunshine beach and Batemans Bay. Restaurant served simple but yummy food and staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent customer service, location was awesome close to everything, apartment was modern, clean and perfect for our family of 4
Good location for the rest of Batemans Bay. Nice view from the room ( large pond with ducks ). Reception staff was cheerful.

Good location, right in front of Batemans Bay. Superb clean, very comfortable bed.
One of the best cheap motels I have stayed in.
Family atmosphere and clean cabins.
Stayed one night, two adults. Room was very clean and practical, nice to have a table and chairs in the room. Double room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Good value and friendly staff.
The dorms being cabins - actually got a whole one to myself which was a treat! The rainbow birds living there The general vibe there
Rooms were Clean & tidy, there were lots of things for the kids to do. Beach was within walking distance.
Away from the hustle and bustle. Waterfront location with excellent views of the bay.
Location would be very good if staying more than one night.
