Great price for good quality rooms without unnecessary luxury (nonsense). Great location for exploring nature. Quiet lounge area great for getting some study done. I would have spent a couple of hours engaged in some social intercourse at the hotel bar had it not been for a minor cold affecting the nose and feet.

Cosy room and sparkling clean. Everything was super clean and well organised. We really appreciated the continential breakfast that was provided. The best part was being able to take my little dog for the weekend Our communication with the host was very quick and efficient. We didn't meet her and were able to let ourselves in with the lockbox which was convenient. We were also able to arrange an early check in which was super helpful. The accomodation is very quiet and peaceful and a quick drive to the main street of Blackheath. A great spot for exploring the Blue Mountains and really good value It was very windy when we were up for the weekend so we didn't sit outside but it would be lovely sitting out side in the garden on a sunny day.

Absolutely fantastic cottage which was even more charming than I'd imagined. The attention to detail was wonderful and there was always something new to spot around the cottage, be it an interesting old picture or a vintage camera. Charm overload and great amenities - everything you need if you plan to cook there... or simply make some breakfast with a quality kettle and toaster! Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Blackheath is vibrant and beautiful.

Blackheath is vibrant and beautiful. It’s a little bit low key than Leura or Katoomba, and has great shopping, antiques, great pubs and a wonderful vinyl cocktail bar. There are many walks and hikes close by. If you’re not up for a hike, find a lookout and see the beautiful vistas.

A beautiful little town with a character distinct from its more famous neighbours Katoomba and Leura. There are a great number of walking options and the Spring gardens were a picture- especially the azaleas and rhododendrons.

Blackheath is a small town with everything you need and plenty of walks and views of the surrounding area. Also, it's close to the main town of Katoomba but far enough to be away from the crowds.

Always a lovely town to visit - spectacular Rhododendrons...

Always a lovely town to visit - spectacular Rhododendrons Garden - nearby Mt Wilson Private Gardens even more beautiful and extensive. Wait until mid October for peak flowering though you'll miss the daffodils by then.

I went to Blackheath to visit wineries in the Megalong...

I went to Blackheath to visit wineries in the Megalong Valley Dryridge Estate and Megalong Creek Estate. Its a lovely drive down into the valley. I also did a bit of antique shopping and a short bushwalk. I have a full day and really enjoyed it. At night I went to the pub for a meal and a few beers but there are other options. Had breakfast at a local café.

There are so many options for food lovers.

There are so many options for food lovers. Bars, small restaurants with few intimate tables, gastropub (The New Ivanhoe) and a variety of coffee venue choices with great coffee. There is a tremendous antiques store you could get lost in and a stunning community built swimming pool with 100 year old Rhododendrons. A short drive to lookouts with many walking tracks for various abilities.

The rooms minimalistic space was beautiful. Very clean and had the basic things that we needed. The staff were super friendly and kind. The decor and the way the room was spaced out was thoughtful and nice. The spa was beautiful after a long day of hiking and the location of the hotel was perfect for setting off on walks around Blackheath and Katoomba. the breakfast every morning was a lovely touch. There is a beautiful veggie patch you can walk through and can even meet the chickens that provide the gorgeous eggs at breaky each morning.

Nice quiet room with fully renovated bathroom. Location of the motel is great for a family as you are going to be a walking distance from several playgrounds, IGA, town centre with coffee shops, bakeries and takeaway places. The owners of the motel are happy to help out plan itinerary. They even prepared the list of 90 reasons to visit and come back to Blackheath and Blue Mountains which we found very helpful.
