Located across the road from Bonny Hills main beach, Tallowood beachfront cottage offers self-catering accommodations with a terrace and free WiFi. The property features sea and garden views. This place is amazing. Great location. Dog friendly. Dog beach right across the road with lots of friendly dogs to play with. The house is big enough for 2 couples or a family. Everything was clean.
Located in Bonny Hills, less than 0.6 mi from Rainbow Beach, THE BOARDROOM ON BANKSIA - 11 Banksia Ave Bonny Hills features air-conditioned accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. Close to the beach, stunning views of the ocean, plenty of comfortable beds to fit the whole family.
Great Big4 park - the kids loved it. Will definitely be back! Second bedroom of beach hut fits three people which is great for families of five. Lovely staff, small scale park felt perfect for us and great surrounding areas to visit.
Great place for all the family from tots to oldies. Would love to try the pool with the big bucket, but I am a whimp. Love the verandas, the short walk to the beach. Oh it is just a great place to stay.
Bonny Hills is a small beachfront town with great beaches, great cafe at the Surf Club and a short drive to Port Macquarie and other little towns such as Laurieton and Lake Cathie. There is a petrol station and store that incorporates a small supermarket, liquor store and takeaway. There is a great gaden centre in Bonny Hills with a lovely cafe too so no shortage of places to have a meal or coffee and cake. There is a great surf beach for anyone wanting a surf or bodyboard or just to stroll along.
We loved the lay out of the park, the closeness to the beach, the activities one could enjoy i.e bikes, scooters, mini golf, table tennis, pool with water tube and big bucket. We ate at Bonny Hills hotel, where the food was excellent and even won on the pokies. Just a five minute drive down the road. As we are in our 70s we appreciated the easy access to the beach where we enjoyed a nice long stroll. We also enjoyed strolling around the park and having a chat to the other residents., and even a game of ping pong.
Bonny Hills is stunning, you come around a bend in the road to be greeted by the ocean .. The surrounding towns are also wonderful and so close by, as is Port Macquarie.. Coffee at the local cafe was delicious and all of the locals were super friendly..
We would have liked to stay closer to Port Macquarie town centre as we were competing in a race, but accommodation was booked up, so Bonny Hills was a great option - peaceful, had local shops and was only a short drive (20 mins). The beach was nearby, and we were able to access it from Sydney without having to drive all the way into PM. We would have liked more time to explore.
Everthing. Not new but well cared for and maintained
