The day staff were just as helpful and friendly. I would totally stay there and recommend it to anyone heading to Bowral.

AustraliaMy husband and I had a truly enjoyable long weekend at Apple Tree Lane. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the wonderful hospitality of Marg and Butch. Their attention to detail was thoughtful and very much appreciated – from the beautifully presented visitors’ guide to Bowral, full of suggestions for local walks and attractions, to a charming introduction to the hosts’ own story.
The cottage itself was clean, cosy, and full of character, nestled in a beautifully maintained garden. It was clear a lot of care goes into keeping everything in excellent condition. We especially enjoyed the extra-warm shower after our days out exploring – such a treat!
The cottage is walking distance to to the local shops and restaurants and attractions.
All in all, a comfortable and peaceful escape. We would gladly recommend Apple Tree Lane to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the Bowral area

Very picturesque country town, with a vibrant shopping strip. Lots of coffee shops, cafes, patisserie's, restaurants, homewares and novelty shops. It's surrounded by a very lush landscape with lots of character cottages and larger acerage properties. It's very handy to Mittagong and Mossvale and a good central location to explore the Southern highlands and beyond. It also has has plenty of accommodation from B&B to motels.

We stayed in Bowral to see the Tulip Festival, and it was so pretty. We loved all the colours of the flowers, and the gardens were set out lovely. The market stalls were nice to look at too. The town had a lot of nice quirky little shops, and the Chinese restaurant and local hotel were really good for dinners. Everyone seemed friendly, and although the traffic was busy, everyone was patient, and took their turn.

We enjoyed the Tulip Time visit at Corbett Gardens. We were impressed by the garden displays and enjoyed the market stalls in the gardens. The retail shops at Bowral provided a lot of merchandise that can't be seen anywhere else. The Bistro and Pizza place at the Imperial Hotel provided great food. It's easy to walk around and see lot's of great attractions all close by.

I was born in Bowral so the nostalgia for me was high!
I was born in Bowral so the nostalgia for me was high! I was only able to be in the area for one night, but made it out to Bundanoon and to Mittagong for a visit. Eating at the Briars Inn was a sensational experience with incredible food and a lovely cosy vibe. Parking in Bowral can be a challenge on the weekends, but we managed!

Bowral is a lovely country town, and we loved all the beautiful gardens and trees particularly at this time of year with autumn leaves.
There are so many options when it comes to food. Gumnut, The Creperie and Italo were all excellent.

The location was great as I was doing a course in Robertson and was seeing people in Bowral, so it meant staying nearby everyone. Parking was accessible, easy access to the hotel, room access was easy, checkin and checkout was quick and breakfast options were good and tasty.

Staying in the Southern Highlands for a wedding, Magnolia Cottage gave us a perfect and comfortable base. Close to Bowral and Berrima, the extra space of a lounge room and kitchen made it a much more convenient option than a hotel or motel.
