W Brisbane, Emporium Hotel South Bank, and Royal On The Park got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Brisbane.
Loved Suncorp and the Broncos! We were able to walk there and back from our accommodation. We also could get to ride the citycats along the river to get to the Cultural Centre and Southbank. We could also drive so quickly to West End to get a beautiful vegan breakfast! Would have stayed longer if we had the time!
I love Brisbane as there is always something happening like festivals . This weekend was truck festival. I loved the night views especially in South Bank on the wheel of Brisbane and catching a boat and cruise along the Brisbane river . I loved restaurants in South Bank . My favourite being the Turkish restaurant. Brisbane is easy to get around as public transport is easily accessible.
All the big name shops are in the CBD plus shops for the more budget conscious. The Go card allows you to travel the area for very little cost on bus, train or the wonderful City Cat service. All the transport services run regularly and staff are friendly and helpful. It is a hilly city but, where necessary, lifts help the less abled get to the upper or lower levels on which this city operates. Above all I found that people in Brisbane were friendly and helpful whether it be giving directions or a helping hand. As the city is preparing for the 2032 Olympic Games there is work being done, particularly building the new Crossrail. This means road works in various areas and staff employed to guide pedestrians around diversions, always with a smile and cheery greeting. Brisbane makes a very convenient base for trips out to Tamborine Mountain, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and many other enjoyable days out to nearby islands and the hinterland highlands where your can walk amongst the rainforest tree tops.
Brisbane is superb, free botanical gardens and they are wonderful, the ferries are free too and the parks and museums. You have to really search for good cuisine though as there are a lot of burger and chips places. Most hotels offer a better selection but are more expensive if you're on a bidget
Hotel location brilliant to walk around city. we walked to magic round got Taxi back late at night. Security on door each night. View from balcony amazing of city light at night unreal church bells Sunday morning lovely experience. Apartment clean but could do with upgrade some containers etc.
Brisbane is so amazing. Such a fantastic place to visit. Plenty to do and lots of amazing dining options. We love Brisbane and love visiting. We have visited plenty of times before and always find lots to keep us busy. Totally recommend the Storey Bridge Climb or a live footy match at Suncorp Stadium, a visit to Southbank and the observation wheel.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel for such a cheap price! Staff were great to help accommodate with anything we needed. Very clean and tidy with comfy beds. Super close to the CBD (nice city walk or cheap uber ride) to where we needed to be. If I had to complain about anything it would be the challenging car park! Holy Moly! This was the craziest parking challenge to get through, So many poles! definitely ask your friends partner or anyone to help navigate in and out of the car park. :))
South Brisbane, Brisbane
I was seeing an evening show at QPAC and this was the perfect location to stay. The hotel was close to QPAC and the surrounding streets and hotel entrance were well lit so I didn't feel nervous walking back after the show. My room was very clean and faced the river & city so you had a lovely view sitting out on the balcony. This hotel is also ideal for visiting anything located at Brisbane's South Bank
Bowen Hills, Brisbane
Went to a gig at The Triffid which was $7.50 Uber from the hotel. 15min walk from Fortitude Valley Mall. So if you’re heading out in the valley but don’t want to stay in the heart of it Code Apartments is a good little distance. The street isn’t that busy also so you don’t hear all that city traffic. The room was large and clean. Balcony was big and the kitchen has all you need. Definitely staying again.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
The hotel was perfect in everyway! The location was perfectly central in the cbd walking distance to everywhere including southbank. The room was very spacious and comfy and gives a luxurious vibe. The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel even took account our special request for having room with the river view and gave us the perfect room! Enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
Spring Hill, Brisbane
For a last-minute booking for NYE in Brisbane, the room did the job and was reasonably priced (I just wouldn’t pay that price normally for the quality of room). Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Good location near the CBD and Fortitude Valley, easy to access. FREE PARKING! (A rare find in Brisbane city.) The bed was nicely made and had fresh new sheets, however the mattress was very soft.
Third time staying here ... good value and an excellent location. Easy 900m walk from South Brisbane station across the bridge - makes it an ideal base for Southbank adventures and easy to access the City also. Awesome shower, bed is comfy. Buffet breakfast downstairs was good. No complaints.
\ super friendly welcoming accomodating staff clean and chic and modern, excellent location close to many attractions restaurants bars and CBD. Easy to get around from this location.quiet and an oasis of green in the city on the park. Perfect for a few nights stay in Brisbane
Milton, Brisbane
The Milton is in an ideal location- above a train station with easy access to the CBD, the river and other parts of Brisbane. The apartment itself is excellent- comfortable and well appointed, with an excellent kitchen which is better equipped than other serviced apartments.
The location couldn't be better. Across the street from the Queen Street Mall, this hotel has easy access to shopping and dining. Also within 2 blocks of almost all train routes in the CBD. A short walk to the river and then across the bridge to Southbank. Perfect.
Hamilton, Brisbane
Close to the Northshore Eat Street was a bonus, plus Fortitude Valley, Brisbane CBD and Southbank were nearby as well. Had loads of places to go within a short distance of driving. Room was awesome for the price, comfortable bed, aircon was a major plus
Staff were very friendly and helpful after we got stuck in Brisbane due to Victorian border being closed. The hotel is in a great spot in the centre of the city. Close by to everything you could possibly want.
Spring Hill, Brisbane
Spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments, bathtub in one of the bathrooms for kids, great city views from the balcony, clean linen, comfy beds, good location to Southbank.
We had a lovely stay at the Royal on the Park, the room was very comfortable. We were close to the Brisbane CBD, The Botanical Gardens and a short walk to Southbank.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
Great location for a walk across the bridge to Brisbane CBD for shopping. A great stroll through Southbank. Hand to local bars and restaurants.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
Very close proximity to the Brisbane Convention Centre and Southbank. Excellent view over the adjacent parkland and part of the CBD
Great value for Brisbane CBD.
