W Brisbane, Emporium Hotel South Bank, and ibis Brisbane Airport got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Brisbane.
Hard to get to... Machine check is terrible....they had double booked my room and wallked in to my room and someone else was in it asleep and took over an hour to get another room as you need to talk to someone overseas. lucky they reimbursed cost of room. Worse experience ever
Loved Suncorp and the Broncos! We were able to walk there and back from our accommodation. We also could get to ride the citycats along the river to get to the Cultural Centre and Southbank. We could also drive so quickly to West End to get a beautiful vegan breakfast! Would have stayed longer if we had the time!
I love Brisbane as there is always something happening like festivals . This weekend was truck festival. I loved the night views especially in South Bank on the wheel of Brisbane and catching a boat and cruise along the Brisbane river . I loved restaurants in South Bank . My favourite being the Turkish restaurant. Brisbane is easy to get around as public transport is easily accessible.
All the big name shops are in the CBD plus shops for the more budget conscious. The Go card allows you to travel the area for very little cost on bus, train or the wonderful City Cat service. All the transport services run regularly and staff are friendly and helpful. It is a hilly city but, where necessary, lifts help the less abled get to the upper or lower levels on which this city operates. Above all I found that people in Brisbane were friendly and helpful whether it be giving directions or a helping hand. As the city is preparing for the 2032 Olympic Games there is work being done, particularly building the new Crossrail. This means road works in various areas and staff employed to guide pedestrians around diversions, always with a smile and cheery greeting. Brisbane makes a very convenient base for trips out to Tamborine Mountain, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and many other enjoyable days out to nearby islands and the hinterland highlands where your can walk amongst the rainforest tree tops.
Brisbane is superb, free botanical gardens and they are wonderful, the ferries are free too and the parks and museums. You have to really search for good cuisine though as there are a lot of burger and chips places. Most hotels offer a better selection but are more expensive if you're on a bidget
Hotel location brilliant to walk around city. we walked to magic round got Taxi back late at night. Security on door each night. View from balcony amazing of city light at night unreal church bells Sunday morning lovely experience. Apartment clean but could do with upgrade some containers etc.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
We booked for a standard room, but were upgraded to an executive suite. The apartment exceeded our expectations, and the standard of the room, furnishings, and amenities was excellent. The views over the Brisbane River were spectacular, and we spent a good deal of time just looking out the large windows. The hotel is in a great location in the CBD, with many eating places nearby. It is also within easy walking distance to St George's Square, public transport and thee Southbank precinct.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
The location was very good, with Southbank, South Brisbane, West End and the city with easy walking distance. There was a very good cafe across the road (and a worthwhile one downstairs) and good restaurants nearby. On-site parking was desirable and there were several supermarkets within a few minute’s walk. The A/C worked and the in-room laundry appreciated. The apartments are relatively new, which made it more tolerable.
Spring Hill, Brisbane
I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting it to be rundown. Although it was on a busy road, it was relatively quiet (I did take earplugs) and it looks like the rooms have been updated. It was very comfortable and perfect for my stay. It is very close to the city and the walk to Southbank was under 30 minutes. The Sportsman Hotel (Brisbane's home of drag) is a couple of doors up and was so much fun.
absolutely loved signature street art integrated into architecture - this bold statement of confidence in the heart of Brisbane city, practised by great reception staff, nothing too hard for weary travellers and so close to Fortitude Valley dining and retail expressive of great Aus design.. wonderful way meet the city of Brisbane for the first time Will definitely recommend to friends and family
Hotel Alpha was a really great place to stay located super close to everything! Definitely the place to be if you're after accommodation within the city heart. All staff were super friendly & helpful + we had a huge room with a really comfortable bed. Also the block out curtains are a huge win if you like a sleep-in or even if you've had a big night out in fortitude valley.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
Location was fabulous- a short walk to Southbank or Brisbane CBD. The rooms were spacious and had huge wardrobes. The kitchen was professional and sufficient for us to cook on a number of occasions. Aircon was strong and rooms were full of light! The rooftop pool Nd barbecue facilities were excellent too :) The washing machine and dryer in the room was a bonus!
A quality hotel for the price of a motel. Excellent location just a stroll to the river. Well appointed room with full-size bath and large shower. Beautiful view of the city skyline and very comfortable bed. The only hotel I know of right on the edge of the CBD with FREE secure parking. Will absolutely be staying again the next time I am in Brisbane.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
The location for these apartments is great, super convenient. Brisbane can get pretty hot, so the airconditioning and ceiling fan in the bedroom was great. The wifi was pretty goo. The apartment was generally comfortable, and the washer/dryer is really handy. The sound proofing it good, and you can't hear much outside noise at all.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
Our stay at Vine Apartments was outstanding! Very impressed with the facilties, apartment size, kitchen setup, bathroom and comfort of the bed. The location was excellent- a short walk to Southbank or West End- lots of excellent food nearby. Britney has always been so helpful and our stay was great- thanks!
What a fabulous grand old hotel! Olde world charm but beautifully renovated and presented. Spacious apartment room with kitchenette and washing / drying machines. Comfortable bed with blanket, not doona. Hot shower. Quiet. Convenient to everything in Brisbane CBD. Good eating nearby. Courteous staff.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
- Perfect location - Amazing view of Brisbane CBD - Clean and well-scented facility - 2BDRM Apartment came with all appliances + white goods - Loading zone right outside of the facility (great for Ubers) - Optional secure underground Carpark - Had a rubbish chute on every level to make things easy!
Spring Hill, Brisbane
The best part of the place is its closed proximity to the CBD area. The room was large enough for the two of us but could have used a little more cleaning around the bed area and the toilet. Since it’s a hotel, I did expect to have been provided with slippers but in overall, it was a good stay.
Milton, Brisbane
The Milton is in an ideal location- above a train station with easy access to the CBD, the river and other parts of Brisbane. The apartment itself is excellent- comfortable and well appointed, with an excellent kitchen which is better equipped than other serviced apartments.
The location was excellent. Right on the Brisbane river and next to the Botanical gardens. Walking distance to Southbank and the CBD. The on-site restaurant was very nice, good view and delicious food. Nice view from the room.
Staff were fantastic, the room was small but perfect for our night. Close enough to CBD and city for cheap fares around $8 which is great. Can walk if your wanting a beautiful scenic walk. Real fast was Amazing! Great hotel.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
