W Brisbane, Stamford Plaza Brisbane, and Emporium Hotel South Bank got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Brisbane.
Emporium Hotel South Bank, The Calile Hotel, and Ovolo The Valley Brisbane are some of the popular hotels in Brisbane.
The domestic airport is very good unlike in Melbourne you don’t have to walk a kilometre to get out of the terminal if you are flying Jetstar. After leaving your flight at the terminal you only have to walk 200-300 metres and you are on the air-train to the city. This reminds me of Japan very simple and efficient. Other than the airport I cannot recommend Brisbane. You would think they would have volunteer people posted throughout the city to help visitors. Eating in the city is good but don’t expect any service. It looks like one big construction site wait till it is finished to visit this city.
Brisbane is a great place to visit with lots to see and do, great choice of places to visit and dine it's even better if you can find quality accommodation at a fair price. Read reviews before booking. Ensure you can download another app other than google maps to avoid being diverted through un-necessary tolls.
The river area is lovely for a walk around, Just across the River from the Heritage hotel. Casino is adjacent to hotel if you like a gamble. Opa Bar & Mezz was great for a meal. Ferry trip up the river was nice to see Brisbane from the water. Shops and restaurants were all very close.
We love Brisbane especially at night, we could walk around the city all night long admiring the lit up old architecture such as St George square or treasury casino. So much to do within walking distance. The downfall is the e-scooters, although I see the appeal most people were using them incorrectly, sometime a danger to pedestrians. There is quite a few barricades around South Bank currently, but we look forward to seeing the upgrades made for the future.
Great choices of restaurants and entertainment especially at Southbank. The electric scooters are a fun way to get around. The botanic gardens were lovely and lit up at night and the walk along the river side was beautiful well worth the effort.
We came from Tassie to catchup with friends and family - 3 nights at the Ibis Bris Airport was our last stop. The weather was awesome and getting around in our hire care was easy. Just need better signage for hotels.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
Million dollar view; friendly, helpful staff. Large bathtub with shower. Big and v. comfortable bed. This is a hotel 50/50 with apartments, so you have the best of both: independence of an apartment with daily house-keeping. By the river, restaurants everywhere. 5-minute walk to public ferry services. Very quiet despite proximity to the Story Bridge. 7-minute walk to main CBD. Found by sheer chance, Oakwood will be the base for our next stay in Brisbane.
Bowen Hills, Brisbane
Went to a gig at The Triffid which was $7.50 Uber from the hotel. 15min walk from Fortitude Valley Mall. So if you’re heading out in the valley but don’t want to stay in the heart of it Code Apartments is a good little distance. The street isn’t that busy also so you don’t hear all that city traffic. The room was large and clean. Balcony was big and the kitchen has all you need. Definitely staying again.
Spring Hill, Brisbane
For a last-minute booking for NYE in Brisbane, the room did the job and was reasonably priced (I just wouldn’t pay that price normally for the quality of room). Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Good location near the CBD and Fortitude Valley, easy to access. FREE PARKING! (A rare find in Brisbane city.) The bed was nicely made and had fresh new sheets, however the mattress was very soft.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
Location was fabulous- a short walk to Southbank or Brisbane CBD. The rooms were spacious and had huge wardrobes. The kitchen was professional and sufficient for us to cook on a number of occasions. Aircon was strong and rooms were full of light! The rooftop pool Nd barbecue facilities were excellent too :) The washing machine and dryer in the room was a bonus!
The location is ideal, right in the center of Brisbane CBD. Easy to travel around and plenty of options for food/shopping open later. The shower is huge and pressure is good. The 'in-transit' area is a great addition, if you are in-between check-out and leaving the city, there is an area to rest (literally sleep pods)/ shower and have food.
Exceptional value with ideal location to the CBD and short walking distances to all the Galleries, and across the river to Southbank. Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was generous in size and beautifully appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this Hotel with first class services and old world charm
Milton, Brisbane
I was upgraded on arrival and the apartment was super spacious and modern and clean. The location was great - able to walk along the river to Southbank and CBD. Also, lots of restaurants to choose from in close proximity. Overall the feeling was excellent.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
Day or night the view is outstanding! The location was perfect with Victoria Bridge connecting you to CBD, Southbank is by far the most lively vibe in Brisbane. The bedroom towers over the view sometimes you never want to leave that room.
Good location and value for money. Lots of restaurants nearby and a quick walk into the Brisbane CBD. The room was tidy with a great range of facilities for a longer stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
South Brisbane, Brisbane
The location of the apartments is right on the Brisbane River which gives every room an unobstructed view of the CBD, Kangaroo Point and Southbank areas. Walking distance to many attractions and public transport.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
View was amazing. Big wide windows everywhere. Towering over the river and the Wheel of Brisbane, the lights, the bridges. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking on site, location right in the CBD.
Room was nice and the location is very good for staying in the CBD. Easy walk to the mall and shopping. Car parking was free on site. Plus their restaurant was open, unlike some other hotels in Brisbane.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
The bed was super soft and comfortable The room was a great size and very nice The hotel is very close to the city centre and only 8 minutes away from Fortitude Valley
South Brisbane, Brisbane

Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
The location is amazing so close to everything my partner and I could walk to everywhere from our hotel wether it be CBD, Southbank or any of the local gardens
Good location, near Southbank Parklands and the city, but still a quiet location. Cheap and cheerful hotel.
