W Brisbane, Stamford Plaza Brisbane, and Emporium Hotel South Bank got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Brisbane.
The river area is lovely for a walk around, Just across the River from the Heritage hotel. Casino is adjacent to hotel if you like a gamble. Opa Bar & Mezz was great for a meal. Ferry trip up the river was nice to see Brisbane from the water. Shops and restaurants were all very close.
We love Brisbane especially at night, we could walk around the city all night long admiring the lit up old architecture such as St George square or treasury casino. So much to do within walking distance. The downfall is the e-scooters, although I see the appeal most people were using them incorrectly, sometime a danger to pedestrians. There is quite a few barricades around South Bank currently, but we look forward to seeing the upgrades made for the future.
Great choices of restaurants and entertainment especially at Southbank. The electric scooters are a fun way to get around. The botanic gardens were lovely and lit up at night and the walk along the river side was beautiful well worth the effort.
We came from Tassie to catchup with friends and family - 3 nights at the Ibis Bris Airport was our last stop. The weather was awesome and getting around in our hire care was easy. Just need better signage for hotels.
I liked the friendly atmosphere of the City through accommodating service providers and generally welcoming and helpful interactions with people both local and tourists. The city has an easy charm and a distinct impression of having a lot to look forward to in terms of improving infrastructure as it prepares to host the 2032 Olympics. The riverside facilities on both sides are impressive and very user friendly. Check out South Bank and New Farm as well as Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens
Loved the south bank/south Brisbane restaurants and cafes along the Brisbane river, plus the great bars and restaurants with views of the story bridge and Brisbane cbd were great! Suncorp Stadium and the infamous Caxton Street are a must when visiting Brisbane.
Location, location, location! Free onsite parking which is a great plus for inner city CBD. We have a vehicle that required more than 2.3m clearance - hotel under cover is 2m but staff went that extra mile, and put cones around an outside onsite park, reserving same for us. I had read other reviews criticising the hotel as being outdated - all I can say in reply is, yes, it’s not a Hilton or a Mantra, but it’s clean, comfortable with free wifi and parking - easy walking to many attractions, and excellent value for the price.
Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brisbane. The rooms are immaculate and onsite parking is available at a very reasonable rate. Set on a quiet corner in the heart of Fortitude Valley, the hotel's location is perfect - just a few hundred metres from the entertainment precinct and China Town while also an easy walk or scoot to the CBD, riverside cafes and shopping area of Queen Street Mall. I will definitely be staying here again!
Spring Hill, Brisbane
I was pleasantly surprised as I was expecting it to be rundown. Although it was on a busy road, it was relatively quiet (I did take earplugs) and it looks like the rooms have been updated. It was very comfortable and perfect for my stay. It is very close to the city and the walk to Southbank was under 30 minutes. The Sportsman Hotel (Brisbane's home of drag) is a couple of doors up and was so much fun.
I have stayes at City edge hotel three times now and find it to be excellent value in a lovely location very handy the view from the room is a brick wall but still staff there are lovely and the price is fantastic Brisbane is a beautiful city and I enjoyed the day on the Sunshine Coast and Boggo Road jail also Queen Street mall and the beautiful Southbank area definitely will return 😀
The location is ideal, right in the center of Brisbane CBD. Easy to travel around and plenty of options for food/shopping open later. The shower is huge and pressure is good. The 'in-transit' area is a great addition, if you are in-between check-out and leaving the city, there is an area to rest (literally sleep pods)/ shower and have food.
I booked two different rooms, on arrival in Brisbane and on my return trip before departure, Queens size bed and King size bed, both beds were really comfortable, very helpful staff made it work for me ! thanks again ! The hotel was located between the airport and the city, bus and train in minute walking distance. very practical !
South Brisbane, Brisbane
Good location close to a lot of restaurants, cafes, Iga store close to West end Close to the Southbank restaurants about 1 kilometre Close to the south bank railway station ( about 800 meters so we could travel directly from the airport to the South Brisbane station. Even the Brisbane CBD was easily reached by train.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
Great location in the center of Brisbane. This hotel is brand new and has been decorated with a designer touch. Great job of moderinzing the bathrooms/apartments while still maintaining some of the original details of the lobby. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel and would recommend it in a heartbeat.
\ super friendly welcoming accomodating staff clean and chic and modern, excellent location close to many attractions restaurants bars and CBD. Easy to get around from this location.quiet and an oasis of green in the city on the park. Perfect for a few nights stay in Brisbane
Clean facilities, friendly staff. Covered parking at extra cost. In the heart of the city and walking distance to our favorite places in Brisbane. Awesome kids park right next to hotel which has family activities on weekends to attend.
Hamilton, Brisbane
Location with close proximity to brisbane city and the airport was a key factor why we chose this apartment. It was convenient, there was a pool, had the basics. Very close to the Hamilton Hotel where the food was great.
We stayed at the apartments for State of Origin and loved the location and staff. Lovely views over Southbank and the Brisbane River. The staff were really friendly and the room was exceptional.
Friendly staff and very easy check in. Close to Southbank restaurants . Easy walk to Brisbane CBD CBD cafe was excellent, good food and quick service Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend
South Brisbane, Brisbane
The apartment was quite spacious. Location was OK. Only 10 minutes walking from South Brisbane train station and not far away from the CBD.
Spring Hill, Brisbane
Great location, nice views of the city, good size apartment and well-appointed kitchen. Free parking is a huge bonus in Brisbane CBD.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
Location was good, walking distance to CBD, Brisbane River, Botanical gardens and Southbank but accommodation was not satisfactory.
Brisbane Central Business District, Brisbane
Very Close Walking Distance to Southbank and into Brisbane CBD Friendly Staff Pool and Spa Clean Great Views of Southbank
Centrally located with easy walk to CBD or Southbank. Stunning views of Brisbane. Well presented. comfortable beds.
The staff were very welcoming and helpfull. The Hotel was in an excellent position, we could walk to South Bank. The Room was very comfortable and the view was beautiful.
Even though we had to pay for breakfast, the choices were abundant and delicious. Eating outside, next to the river made it worth getting up in the morning.
